McArthur-Burney falls.

Burney falls is located in northern California near redding. Admission when I went, 6-7-15, was $8 for a day pass I believe you can stay until sunset. They also have camping options available. When you drive in they first have a info center where you can watch a video to learn about the history of the falls they also have displays to show you the types of wildlife and plant as well as the types of equipment that people used to use when the first settled there.
Behind that they have the bathrooms and the general store which has everything clothes, camping supplies, fishing supplies, a gift shop, and groceries.

As for hiking we started falls loop which takes you to the base of the waterfall, and at the base you can go to the water fish, swim, whatever you want, from the base you follow the path to a nearby bridge cross it then head up the side of the cliff to the top of the falls you can cross another bridge to end the hike for a total of about 2 miles or like we did we turned at the fork in the part labeled pacific creek continued along for about 1.5 miles to the lake bed that supplies part of the water to the falls, during our trip the creek was dried up, from there we crossed a bridge putting us back on the original side and hiked back to the falls a total of about 5 miles.
As for the terrain the falls loop is handicap accessible but once you go down pacific creek trail its a little more rough but still flat. Its an easy hike for beginners and the views are beautiful.

Devils punchbowl falls

This is near Calistoga and St. Helena in Napa valley its a beautiful hike and a lot easier than most I've gone and at the bottom it has a beautiful water fall.

Also this hike isn't publicly available so enter at your own risk.

When I first got to the road leading to the trail I though I was at the wrong place there's houses and vineyard's all around you and a fence closing off the trail we parked near the end of the road by the locked gate. Some locals told us that its a very popular trail and if your facing the fence follow it along to the left and you will find a small path that leads to a hole in the fence you can enter through there.

Once you enter you head back towards the locked gate and you will find yourself at a large trail big enough to fit a car follow that trail down the hill and you will eventually come across a split in the path one way follow your current direction and the other way leads almost the opposite way.

If you walk to the cliff you will see what looks like yet another path that goes down a steep mountain if you follow that to the bottom you will come across a river.

At the point you will be at the top of the water fall. If you can cross the river, it was a small stream when we went, and follow the trail you will see directly across from you.

As you are following the trail you will see some turnoffs the will lead you to the bottom of the water fall but look and are extremely dangerous. Do not go down those go to the third turnoff its a trivial way down the hill once down head back in the direction towards the waterfall and you will be at the beautiful devils punchbowl falls.

Rockville hills park

This is Rockville hills park near Fairfield California.

The cost of admission is just $3. You can bike, hike, or walk your dog in this area.

As for the size its pretty big a few hours should give you enough time to explore most of what it has to offer such at its two ponds, a shallow cave, as well as a bunch of cows, squirrels, and sheep.

The view are beautiful also as you can see in the pictures.

All in all its a very relaxing place and I plan on going often.
