Went there for my birthday breakfast. Ordered SSD eggs and sausage but got SSU and bacon. The waiter refused to fix it, I had to bring my dish to him. They are so funny, they just flipped the eggs over on the plate and gave me the cold eggs back. Go somewhere else.

Mission Beach Cafe is definitely a favorite brunch spot. I love all the Egg Benedicts they have. The mushroom is the best! They also have huge pancakes that come with bourbon maple syrup, which obviously had melted butter in it and it is oh so good. Portions are well-sized so it's a good sharing place. The only downside is that the wait is LONG. Even if you come before they open, there's already a queue, but you have to try it at least once.

We went to Mission Beach Cafe for brunch last week, and it was phenomenal. There's a lot of hype surrounding MBC, but thankfully the food lived up to our expectations. I had the burger with avocado (done to perfection), and my boyfriend said the eggs benedict was the best he's ever had. Although the wait was about an hour and a half, MBC is a must-try brunch place in SF. My recommendation is to park yourself on a bench, grab a drink, and enjoy the people-watching :) Bon appetit!

This place is awesome. Make sure you get a table with Jenna as your server. She's awesome! Must let you know they place a 15.5% service charge as the tip. If your server went above and beyond like Jenna did for me and my date, then add more. Great food, view and service... Mission Beach Cafe is the spot!

Came here for a brunch date, which turned out well. The line was a bit long, but we were able to put our names down, park the car, and walk back leisurely. Brunch was delicious. The French Toast was really good, as was the crab & shrimp benedict. They served mimosas, but the orange juice was already delicious on it's own. Noise was a little loud, but nothing too crazy. Makes for a great brunch spot for a date.

I've enjoyed dinner at MBC dozens of times. Excellent food, ambiance, it's good value for the high quality food. Their "Sour Cherry Pie" is incredible! The only drawback is that it can get noisy when it's packed which can make it hard to talk if you're a party greater than four people.

Super trendy cafe in SF, expect lines at door and trendy people inside. Entree was fine, but I expected more. Ordered the special fries that came with burned garlic and had a bad taste.

This is my favorite brunch place so far. My favorite things on the menu here (or anywhere, really): - The wild mushroom benedict which comes with a truffle mornay sauce (!!) - The challah french toast, which comes with berries and a marscapone cream on top. It seriously melts in your mouth. You know how brunch is always about deciding between sweet and savory? Well, at Mission Beach Cafe, you don't have to because you can order just one pancake or piece of French toast with your savory entree. I went with a group of three and we got one piece to share -- everyone loved it so much we ignored our entrees so we could make sure we got a fair crack at the French toast. The only drawback to this place is the long wait, but that's pretty standard at a good brunch place in the Mission. My solution is to put my name down, then walk around or go do something for a half hour before returning. I've also come to brunch at 3pm and there was no wait then :)
