BETTER THAN COUPLE’S COUNSELING

The best prescription for any couple.

A day of total relaxation, nurturing the synergy between two connected souls.

Start with a morning soak in the mineral infused, canyon rim jacuzzi whirlpool, that’s totally private, nestled in the forest and reserved just for the two of you.

Slip into a gourmet breakfast complete with Champagne Mimosas and the Chef’s custom breakfast special just for you.

Take a self-guided nature walk to the nearby Ocean Bluffs and spend some quality time reflecting.

When you get back, you will don your spa robes again for the entry to the Tranquility Lounge in our Indigo Eco|Spa. Your therapists will talk about your personal needs and areas which require extra attention before they begin a customized melody of spa treatments performed side-by-side in our dedicated Couple’s Massage Suite, with fireplace glowing, aroma therapy and spa music filling the air.

Afterwards, you will enjoy some refreshments, from our Spa Menu, like our groumet, hand-dipped dark chocolate covered strawberries, and take a dip in the hot tub again, soak in the sauna or enjoy the beautiful views from our Ocean Terrace Deck, surrounded by Forest, Meadow, our minicured back lawn, gardens and the Paciifc Ocean.

Chose an evening to enjoy a special Chef’s Blind Tasting Menu, with select tastings of food paired perfectly to wines he has chosen from our cellar just for you. Each course is followed by a discussion and test to see if you can guess the varietal of the wine pairing.

You’ll take home the personalised menu, imprinted with your names as a momento of the occasion.

You will select a time to enjoy two side-by-side parrafin therapy treatments of either hands or feet, with just the two of you and a bottle of champage lounging in total tranquility, while our special aroma steam circulates around you.

Before you check out the 2nd morning, you’ll enjoy another gourmet breakfast in our dining room and take away memories, bonding and togetherness which you will cherish forever.

My wife and I just returned from a 2 day stay at Stevenswood. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Nelson checked us in and was very courteous and helpful. The area was very quiet and beautiful. The rooms are spacious although a little dated. They could use some minor repairs. All in all we would return to the Bed and Breakfast.

I gave this place a better rating than I would had I paid the full rate. Fortunately I used a Groupon. All of their advertizing and pictures gave me the impression that this is a very high-end boutique resort hotel. It seems like they upgraded the furniture, paint etcetra before the pictures were taken but have not had the staff to maintain it all. After arriving, I got the impression this place is barely making it by. The towels are thread bare and small. The water and coffee cups in the room are paper and plastic. The grounds are un-kept. Sweeping would go a long way. The decks, the hot tub and the hot tub deck areas were heavily covered with tree debris. We never saw a restaurant guest while staying there. The hot-tub was dirty, cloudy and never hot enough. They have a heat schedule but it was never up to the temperatures listed. It did get hotter after we complained but never did get hot enough. The breakfast is simply bizarre. We just went out to get something edible.

I'll add more after I type up a full yelp review, but overall this place is beautiful. It's over priced and the staff is not trained too well in hospitality.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The staff is rude. Notice that all the previous reviews were written within 2 days and some of the names to not even appear to be real. Looks like they needed to bring their ratings up, so they stuffed the ballot box, so to speak. I have worked in the hotel industry and know what good customer service sounds like. These people do not have a clue. My experience with every single person I encountered was shocking and rude. I had questions about the final bill (which you do not receive when you check out) and just needed a quick explanation. They do not do business on the phone and reaching someone is very difficult. I was disconnected twice and on the third call, when I reached someone, he told me he was just too busy and literally hung up on me - when I was in mid-sentence. In emails between us, no one ever uses their last name, nor do they ever acknowledge wrong doing. My impression was they just didn’t think they could be wrong. See my full review on yelp.

This place is my own personal "Cheers" - everybody knows my name. The receptionists are fabulous and always greet me by name. You cannot go wrong with any of the services here (although one of the water treatments freaked my mom out).
