I've visited this branch of the Mormon Church many times. They may be small in number but they are very caring of one another. They have an active scout troop and youth activities. The Sunday meetings are always inspiring. They are always welcoming. Each time I've visited I've learned more of Jesus Christ and his gospel.

These people are really welcoming. I first visited in December. When I went back in May many of them remembered me. The Christmas program was really beautiful and the dinner afterward was great! You know a gathering is really great when people just want to stay and visit afterward. That's the way it was. They care about each other and help each other.

When my family moved to San Pedro my father wasn't attending church with us. However, the first Sunday in our new home he surprised us and went with us. The leader of the congregation, Bishop Billie Cowser, was so welcoming and helpful that my father rarely missed a Sunday. All the members were welcoming to our family. Each of us found new friends and enjoyed worshipping together. The chapel has lovely stained glass windows. Its a wonderful place to come and learn of Jesus Christ and to strengthen families.

Yes, I remember this, I am Mary Etta's younger sister, Jan. This Bishop Cowser was so good in greating our Dad into the church. What a difference in our lives when that happen. I was 14 years old at that time.

This is the chapel I attended when I was about 4-years old. I remember sitting on the front steps with many other children and our teachers for a photograph. It was Primary. There I learned about Jesus and trying to be good. I remember my mother preparing lessons for the young boys. Many of them later remembered her for making a difference in their 11-year old lives. My children attended Primary in the many places we lived. Teachers helped them learn things we also taught them at home. Every child benefits by such influence for good. Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts get started in Primary at this LDS Church.

I've been attending here for ten years. The congregation has changed over the years. Now we have many young couples and babies. We all love the sweet sounds of children in our worship services. We have scouts for the boys and activities for the girls. When my shy 5 and 7-year old granddaughters came to visit this summer they were welcomed and readily stayed with the other children to learn about Jesus and being a good person. I really appreciated the women who helped them feel at ease to join in with the other children.

We started our family when we attended church here. The members were wonderful examples of parenting for us. When I was on bedrest for our third child the women came to help me in our home. They took care of our two older children while my husband was at work. They brought us dinner every night. These people taught us the foundation upon which we built our family. Though we moved away after five years many of them remained life-long friends. Their Christian lives were an example to us.

I have many happy memories going to church here when I was a teenager. We had a sweet lady that led our mid-week activities when I was 13-15 years old. There were only three of us in her class, Karen, Ruth and me. She might have thought she was too old to relate to us but we learned many important things from her. She helped us to have fun times. Ruth and I are still friends these many years later. My father began attending church with us here. The members helped him to feel welcome as he started to think more about religion and Jesus Christ. It made a big difference in my family.

We visited here a few years ago when we were traveling across country. The congregation welcomed us warmly and kindly. We learned more about Jesus from the talks that we heard and the lessons taught.

We lived next door to this chapel for over 20 years. Great neighbors! Our family enjoyed worshipping here as well as the many activities for youth and scouts. The Family History Center here is very convenient and helpful for genealogy. The members were especially supportive to us when we had illnesses in our family.

The members of this church were wonderful to us when we lived there. It was a time of illness in our family. They were so kind and supportive to us that we felt we needed to stay longer to be able to express our appreciation in return before we accepted a job transfer and left. We learned many things here.
