This is the second time I have stayed at the lodge in Geneva. It's always a great time. The staff is very friendly and the service is top notch. Rooms and buildings are very clean. Loved the wine shuttle. What a great weekend getaway.

We stayed in the new cottages, which are very nice. We had four adults and the cottage has two bedrooms with one bath. Personally, with one bathroom I felt that these Cottages might be best suited for a single family since sharing one bathroom with grown adult friends can be a challenge. Otherwise, the cottage is beautiful! We had lunch and breakfast at the resort and both meals were fantastic. The breakfast buffet was especially good. They have a large assortment of breakfast foods and everything was fresh and well prepared.

The hotel is very nice and well maintained. The view and setting of the hotel is fantastic. It's a little pricey but that is only because they're really the only nice ( there are dive hotels) hotel on the lake. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of our recent visit. I was one of the very first to try out there new cottages this summer and it didn't go so well. The cottages itself is really nice but services to the cottage were hit and miss. I think it will get better with time. I just didn't want that one stay to sway my review. All my other stays have been great. One cool thing they offer is a shuttle service to the winery's. Don't have to worry about drinking and getting behind the wheel.

its beautiful. A lovely place for a wedding, of which I was officiating. The food was good, the rooms were spacious and luxurious, and the views were stunning. It would get a 5 star review had staff been more friendly.

Amazing place and amazing experience. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Room was very clean and tidy. Both pools were clean and the adult swim from 10pm till midnight is awesome. Highly recommend this place to everyone, what a great get away!!

We stayed at a premium cottage on a Sunday with three adults and three children with a fantastic view of the water. The cottages are crammed way to close to one another. And the parking situation is horrible. You have to walk 5 minutes from your vehicle to the premium cottages. The room itself was more than what we needed. Beds were firm and comfy but bring your own pillow if you plan on sleeping more than a few hours. The cottage does have A/C although you can only set it at as low as 70 degrees. We did luck out that it was a sunday night and there were not many people outside at the fire pits making noise and getting drunk all night. Another downside is that there is public parking behind the cottages and there are constantly random non guests walking 15 foot from your cottage asking you questions about the lodge and pestering you. The pool area was not overcrowded, although the only downside was that there were only 4 table umbrellas for the entire outdoor pool. Be prepared to shell out 8 dollars for a mixed drink or 4.50 for a domestic beer at the poolside bar. We would have given 5 stars if the lodge would invest a few dollars into creating a private beach for guests. You can gain access to the water but it is a slippery slope to get to the water. In summary it is well worth paying the extra 30 dollars for the premium cottage( DO NOT SKIMP OUT ON THE VIEW)!!!

Our upgraded "premium room" had not been updated in probably 20 years. Water stains in the ceiling in the bedroom and bathroom. Smoke alarm battery was dead and the blinking light kept us up at night. Had to go to the front desk and wait for them to bring me a battery. No one came for 10 minutes so I told the front desk not to worry, so I put a towel around the smoke alarm. 30 minutes alter at 2:30 AM a maintenance guy showed up at our room after I told the front desk not to worry and I didn't want anyone to come in our room. Our 4th of July reservation said there was "Entertainment" at their restaurant. When we asked the front desk what entertainment there was, she told us it was only the weekends, and she didn't know why our reservation would say that. Front desk also told us the wine tour had samples for .50 or $1......every place we went to looked at us like we were clueless and we paid full price everywhere we went. Basically paid $70 for a shuttle bus to the wineries that were just up the road. Never would stay there again.

The room we stayed in was a suite and it was not very clean. The carpet was badly stained, the bed skirt was torn, there were splatters of something on the wall, and the baseboard area was very dusty. We paid almost $300 for 1 night in this room, and at that rate I expect MUCH better room conditions than this. We did speak with a manager upon check out and she refunded 10% back to us and said she would be speaking with the housekeeping staff. That's honestly the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1. It was very disappointing.
