Free Reads is back with Part Three of "The Last Judgment" from Asimov's. Read by the enchantingly noir Genevieve Aichele. This is an extra-long, action-packed episode! http://feeds2.feedburner.com/freereads

Check this! An excerpt from the brilliant ... er ... pretty okay introduction that John Kessel and I wrote for the just published Nebula Showcase anthology is up on Huffpost. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/25/nebula-awards_n_1545655.html?ref=books

I don't think I've pointed before at "The Biggest," my first-ever recently-published superhero story, featuring several celebrity cameos. Silly me! http://bit.ly/yIL4gW

Strangeways lives. Number five is now available on Nook and Kindle, and is my first all fantasy issue. Yes, I ~do~ write fantasy, thank you very much. Strangeways 5 includes my Nebula nominee "Don"t Stop" about a day in the life of a very odd runner and "Faith" the rom-com novelette that grew up to be an opera. Also a very old essay about feminism and my writing. All for a buck.

Well howdy! I'm just discovering your Strangeways publishing experiment and am eager to see what this looks like on my black and white Nook. (I need e-ink after staring at computer screens all day)

Blast From the Past Department.

Remember when I used to podcast? Guess what, I'm at it again. I've relaunched my Free Reads Podcast with a new (old) story: "Happy Ending 2.0," first published in the Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction in March, 2011. Just think -- a half hour of me whispering sweet lies into your ears. But wait, there's more! There are lots of other stories still waiting for you there, including "Going Deep," "Bernardo's House," and "Men Are Trouble" -- just to name three.

Free Reads is back -- pass it on! http://freereads.blogspot.com/
