Minus, I can't believe you are gone. I really wish we could have hung out with you more, because you were a way cool guy. But if there's ever been anyone who could tag the afterlife, it's you. You'll be missed, man.

I don't know. I haven't heard any details and I don't want to disturb grief of the people who might know to find out. :(

Hey G+ please fix the iPhone app so autocorrect & double-tap work again. It's hard enough to use this on my phone, and without those features I almost want to just not bother. And since I almost exclusively post on my phone, just not bothering means just not posting.

My notifications are blowing up with people "sharing" with me- my "people I don't know who share with me" circle is getting huge! But it's all good, since I block obvious circle-whores since I don't need that. Anyone who's sharing with me, if you have a specific topic you're sharing about & want to be in a circle of mine that's the same, please comment here and let me know. Otherwise, you'll get whatever junk I send out with no theme whatsoever, which you may/may not like. :)

I'd love to join the blogging circle. I blog about real estate, but I do all of my own website design (with the help of WordPress). Interested to see what you have to say. =)
(My blog is http://BrianRayl.com - let me know what you think and +1 it if you like it!)

Damn it. I just realized that ANYTHING I do on FB is posting to that stupid activity stream thing for my friendslist to view. Which means that if I say something to a friend, for example, my mom could see it. Which depending on what I said could be a problem, hypothetically. The thing is, I have no problem with FB making changes, except when those changes directly affect my privacy. Change the user interface, fine. Add crappy features I don't want? Okay. But the second you breach my privacy because ANY acquaintance on my friends list can see EVERYTHING I do like they are my closest friends, without my consent, because they chose what content of mine they want to see without my saying "cool, let them subscribe to me".... really? In what world is this cool?
Screw you, FB. I'm clearing my friendslist of everyone that I don't "know", just to keep this from being a problem. And I'll have to remove all of my work friends just in case. This is just retarded. Instead of allowing me to get to know other people to make acquaintances into friends, I'll be going back to my usual paranoid self. And as soon as I have my mom and other family here, I'll quit using it for everything except my blog's page. I'm done with you, Facebook. Goodbye.

I think it's rather horrible that I can't even play a regular radio in my classroom now! I had it on today, and as I was listening I realized that most of these songs wouldn't be appropriate for school. How would I play the radio not knowing when I'll need to turn it off to avoid a rendition of "S & M" by Rhianna by one of my kids later? Or how about the new one that sings about how "that's guaranteed to get my panties off"? I mean, what's the point of censoring the f-word when we can educate our kids about how to do it through the radio? That's just ridiculous.

Everyone needs to read this. Not all the 99% are stupid kids clambering for privileges they haven't earned. This is exactly how I feel about the American Dream.

I was going to post a rebuttal against a similar image I've seen floating around, detailing the fact that the Occupy Wall St issue is a wider socio-cultural one, not an individual one. People making these images are obviously not the target of the Wall St rallies, yet they believe they have been somehow maligned by the people taking part.

These people are protesting for the greater good, not themselves. This post I've linked knocks it outta the ball-park.
Hello,. I briefly visited the “We are the 53%” website, but I first saw your face on a liberal blog. Your picture is quite popular on liberal blogs. I think it's because of the expression on your ...

I think the major missing flaw is that too many people don't understand what occupy wall street is about in the first place though this writer makes a great point that this dude's intense work and lifestyle is unsustainable over the long term. He also doesn't acknowledge that many people who are upset are not lazy or welfare recipients but good people who have illegally had their houses foreclosed on, or lost the job keeping their family afloat. This is a single letter to a single white man. How about women who statistically make less or the minorities who statistically make up those who are poverty stricken?

Thank goodness. Maybe this will get some repair done.

Open Letter from ANONYMOUS

FREE-THINKERS, HYPERBOREANS, BUILDERS OF THE FUTURE,

We are ANONYMOUS. Because many of you seem to think the very fact of our existence is indeed rather confusing, we would like to take this opportunity to elucidate to you what it is ANONYMOUS is and does exactly - what it means we are ANONYMOUS, what it is we're aiming at, and what is our ontological status.

Now first and foremost, it is important to realize that ANONYMOUS - in fact - does not exist. It is just an idea - an internet meme - that can be appropriated by anyone, anytime to rally for a common cause that's in the benefit of humankind.

This means anyone can launch a new ideological message or campaign under the banner of ANONYMOUS. Anyone can take up a leading role in the spreading of the ANON-consciousness.

Whether or not these appropriations are legitimate is decided by the rest of the internet citizenry : If the majority of the public agrees with a proposed appropriation, then the public will act - If the majority of the public disagrees with a proposed appropriation, then the public will protest and label the message in question as illegitimate and thus not representative of the values of ANONYMOUS.

This makes ANONYMOUS the first truly democratic endeavour in the world. It is a bee-hive where the queen is missing - yet buzzing with activity in every possible form, direction, shape and colour one could possibly imagine.

This does not mean, however, that there can't be 'bad' actions presented as coming from ANONYMOUS. Just as with 'bad' speech though, we believe the solution to these issues is not less speech, but more speech - not less (or restrictive) action, but more (and constructive) action.

ANONYMOUS believes the only legitimate form of power is that power which rests on widespread public consent, and so there is not one person or group of people who can ever claim to be ANONYMOUS.

Anonymous is not a political current, nor is it based on a political current. Some may say that it's anarchism, liberalism, communism, libertarianism, etc. - others say it's nothing but a bunch of twelve-year olds from 4chan having fun on the internet. Anonymous is none of those - yet it encompasses elements of all these things and many, many more.

ANONYMOUS is the people and the people is ANONYMOUS. ANONYMOUS is anything and everything, anyone and everyone, anywhere and everywhere.

Moreover, anyone taking part in the actions of ANONYMOUS endeavours to defend an idea through anonymous collective action, and not to promote themselves as some kind of hero or saviour of the world. ANONYMOUS, therefore is not about personal achievement and recognition. It is about accomplishing goals for the betterment of humankind - together - as a species.

The Internet has changed the way we look at each other and the world. New technology has enabled people to communicate faster and more often. ANONYMOUS realizes that this freedom of information makes people more free to decide what they like or disagree with.

This freedom of information has forever changed how society perceives consensus, democracy, transparency, and freedom itself. Never before has society been able to have these debates twenty four hours a day, at all locations at the same time.

ANONYMOUS applauds these developments and will defend humanity against anyone willing to take this new-found freedom away. We do not forgive censorship, and we do not forget that knowledge is free. Moreover, we are legion, so we will not be denied.

The more they repress us, the more we will fight back. Because we are more than one. Because they can find and persecute one man or woman fighting for a cause - but not hundreds of thousands of people all across the globe, fighting for a more just and transparent society.

Now please take up your personal responsibility !

Show the world some loving and be ANONYMOUS !

WE ARE ANONYMOUS

Fiscal responsibility at it's finest:

* Money the family spent: $38,200
* New debt on the credit card: $16,500
* Outstanding balance on the credit card: $142,710

I am super busy, but when I can I try to read, blog, cook and have fun!
Introduction
I am very busy, and I use social media to keep up with people I know and people with similar interests to me.  Things I am currently into are reading, sci-fi/fantasy, low carb/paleo nutrition, learning about fitness, and planning my wedding.  I have a post about my circles, which you can view here so anyone who follows me can let me know what stuff I post that they would like to be part of.
It's nice to "meet" you, and as long as you are a genuine person (and not some self-promoting jerkoff) I look forward to getting to know you guys!
