Hi! I'm +Luci Westphal, and every week (since May 2010), I publish a 1-minute video about a location or event - from Berlin, Brooklyn, Colorado or wherever travels take me. In addition to the videos, I also post photos from those places in my Google+ Collections. Just choose the locations you're most interested in:
In A #Berlin Minute: https://plus.google.com/collection/wjeQEB
In A #Brooklyn Minute: https://plus.google.com/collection/QCfVSB
In A #Colorado Minute: https://plus.google.com/collection/0lfov
In Another Minute: https://plus.google.com/collection/gUXL_
I also publish... In A Minute Portraits (1-minute interviews): https://plus.google.com/collection/k63_EB ... and pictures from Behind The Minutes: https://plus.google.com/collection/sVI-jB

Hope you like them and have a wonderful day!

One of my favorite things to do: watching the big ships gliding by on the #Elbe River on their way to or from Hamburg. Feeling a bit #homesick on this #FlashbackFriday. Click on the image to watch the video.

If you want to read more about the Elbe River and our lovely evening watching ships, please check out the original post: https://movingpostcard.com/willkomm-hoft/

Happy weekend, everyone!

One of the best things about Ft. Collins, #Colorado, are all the natural areas with their ponds, river-access and lots of big and small trails. You'll get to see lots of wildlife and wildflowers and just breathe. One of my favorites is Prospect Ponds Natural Area: https://movingpostcard.com/prospect-ponds/

For this week's #FlashbackFriday, I'm taking you up to the top of one of the highest mountains in the Rockies, and the inspiration for the song "America, The Beautiful": #PikesPeak, #Colorado.
Click the image to watch the video.
You can read more about the mountain and see other videos from the trip up and down and around in the official post on the Moving Postcard website: http://movingpostcard.com/pikes-peak-summit/
Wishing you all a safe week,
xx Luci

I'm so excited I can finally share what I've been up to and why I have not been very active on this account. I'm also excited to finally get into the next phase of +Happier Place where I will start sharing lots of #Colorado content, including photos and videos. And I'll be offering products that I truly hope will encourage you to "take a break, go outside and have fun" more often, make your Happy Places better and do my part to help make this world a #HappierPlace.

What a difference an angle can make! In this photo you can see how these rocks (between Fiery Furnaces and Devil's Garden) look like big wide rocks from one side and skinny tall towers from another side.

From the video "Arches National Park (Utah) – In Another Minute (Week 365)". You can watch the video here: http://movingpostcard.com/arches-national-park/

Today is the day: 7 years ago today, I published the first 1-minute video (and 3 days ago, I published the last)! After all, today I'm just publishing a blog post instead of the planned vlog. Sorry. But it's probably better for everyone involved that I didn't keep editing that vlog and pushed it on you.

This post is full of thank you's... including the one to YOU. If I didn't mention you by name it was due to space and time (look how long that post is already, it's ridiculous) - but please feel yourself included. Please? Thank you.

Also in this post you can find answers to questions I solicited from friends on Twitter (like +Elizabeth Hahn). Thank you, again.

The rock formation Parade of Elephants seems to be looking right at the sunset over Arches National Park near Moab, Utah.
