This is my sixth attempt at this place in a hope to get a perfect shot. Sometimes, I get there, but mountain is covered in clouds, sometimes it is too windy and I don't get the reflection, or even worse, it starts raining right before the sunrise .. (worst of all -- once I forgot my memory card at home and that was in winter freezing temperatures.)

Today, I did my part, memory card -- check, battery -- check, weather -- 50-50% chance. While driving towards this lake, I was looking at the sky and clouds building up right in front of me, and I was cursing myself..here we go again 80 miles of driving in the middle of the night is going to be a total disaster. But as I reached closer, I saw a moon setting and few stars in the sky and it turned out to be an amazing sunrise.

p.s. I did not plant this duck right in the foreground :). She just posed for me.

Where to start on this.... Well drug deals and shady people hang out in back of hotel parking areas. Manager smokes in front of the hotel non stop. We were charged a 250 dollar smoking charge for our room and we do not even smoke. Our credit card was also overcharged for the stay at the hotel. When we called to fix the problem and the overcharging to our credit card we were told we had been kicked out of the hotel and charged a smoking charge for smoking marijuana on the property. All total our credit card has been charged in excess of an extra $450.00. Never ever stay here unless you want to be falsely accused and overcharged. Hotel also stunk of glues and construction equipment while it was under constant repair. JUDGE the Owner!!!!!! was very rude upon our check out and lied to us acting as an employee. The man can not be trusted and will overcharge your credit card any chance he gets. Run from this place.

Stayed here recently on a business trip. Friendly and helpful staff and Hotel is well maintained. Rooms are comfortable and well kept by housekeeping. Free WiFi was great. Lots of variety for breakfast and it's close to the freeway so convenient. Would recommend it to colleagues.

Stayed here for a girls' getaway. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hot tub was great. The staff members we talked with were all friendly and helpful. There are only two reasons why I didn't give it 5 stars. First, there are not nearly enough electrical outlets. We were always scrambling for space to charge our phones or plug in hair dryers. Second, the breakfast was very lack-luster. I don't expect gourmet meals, but some waffles or pancakes would be nice (honestly-how many people in the NW eat biscuits and gravy?). Also, some berries, melons, or other cut up fruit would be appreciated. We had a great stay, but not quite a 5 star one.

Awesome place! Super friendly staff. We felt very welcomed, they were very helpful. Breakfast was included and the beds were super comfy. Stay here outside of downtown! You won't regret it :) Thank you very much Ramada!
