Here's a little love note for Find Five Friday #f5f. It's an e-mail newsletter I wrote for Bedford/St. Martin's. I really do love the #f5f  stuff we've been doing here.

The url is quite ugly as it's the email software's web version (and the page has odd column sizes): http://view.mail.bfwpub.com/?j=fe6017707c6002797616&m=feed1c737d6c03&ls=fdf01376776c067a711c7274&l=fe5a1575726c037c7215&s=fdf215757163057a72137376&jb=ffcf14&ju=fe231776726d037d741679&r=0

I used my statement of teaching beliefs as the basis of my teaching statement for my job application. Who knew that work a few weeks ago would help me so much today?

It's not the usual stuff that's posted here as makes, but if you're curious:

Let me hijack the normal making and creating and doing for a moment of thanking. I haven't had time to participate in #clmooc  as much as I would like. I had a planned trip in the middle of the course and now I'm scrambling on a job application. Still, I have managed to skim and sometimes dip in more deeply over the weeks of collaborating and sharing. I thank you all for sharing many wonderful ideas and being such fantastic colleagues. I know the course is not yet over, and perhaps I'll still get to those Makes that I've missed. Just in case you all scurry back to the classroom before that happens however, I wanted to make sure that you all know what a wonderful opportunity this has been, how much I appreciate all the creativity that has been shared, and how deeply I'm going to miss this community when we reach the end of our six weeks together. Thank you.
