This is me comparing what we know about the Xbox One to the Playstation 4. I left out the Wii U 'cause, well, you know.
With initial details revealed for the Xbox One, we finally have a chance to directly compare it with that other yet-to-be-released gaming console, the PlayStation 4. Read this article by Eric Franklin on CNET.

Brilliant.

Watch Star Wars as a 60-Second Cartoon. A New Hope distilled into sixty animated seconds.

Check out +Donald Bell's band Aloha Screwdriver's cool album cover.

It's official. My band's new CD features art by the talented +Josh Ellingson . I've now fulfilled my dream of doing something cool enough to warrant coverage on Laughing Squid.

+Eric Franklin says it all: We got an early chance to benchmark the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800. The results weren't pretty...for the other guys.

+Eric Franklin Eric have you had good luck with slimport? I bought a no name adapter but seems like a common issue. I dumped my Sony tablet for a Nexus 7 2nd Gen. John in Seoul

I'll be there waiting patiently for an Uncharted 4 announcement.

Tomorrow's going to be a long day. After Microsoft in the morning, check back in for details on Sony's Playstation 4 at night.
Sony's E3 press conference kicks off Monday at 6 p.m. PT. CNET will be there to bring you news, updates, photos, and running commentary. Read this article by Roger Cheng on CNET.

These guys are lonely after today and I'm disappointed at the dearth of Google I/O hardware announcements. Sadface. #io13

+Brian Hostetler The problem is that Google is responsible in recent years for turning the I/O event into a CES type of event, so they have nobody to blame but themselves when attendees come away disappointed.

I have to admit: I didn't expect to be as excited about the Ouya as I am. I think it's a combination of low price, being able to play tons of indie games, and the ability to make my own games for free. Not that I will be making games, but I like having the option.

Mr. Franklin,

Please consider updating your article for 2014, just in case anything has changed?

Yes, +Karyne Levy apologizes for the inclusion of potty humor in this week's Rumor Has It, but she merely adopted the potty humor. I was born in it.

Wow. That's quite the complement, Jordan. Thanks! The truth is, I've been very lucky and it's been a loooong road to get to where I am now.

My one pointer: don't ever do anything for money you would also do for free. In the long run, you'll be a happier person.
