If you would like to see the taste of a Pizza taken to a whole new level then you must visit the California Pizza Kitchen. They use ingrediants that are not traditionally used as pizza toppings and create unique and tasty pizzas. I personally like their Tostada, California Veggie, Japanese Eggplant and Roasted Garlic Chicken Pizza but will recommend trying basically any pizza on their menu. The sedona tortilla and dakota smashed pea soups are excellent. The service at the Huebner Oaks location is also pretty good.

When you are first seated inside and greeted by well lit and laid out tables, you begin to expect a unique experience. When your $12+ pizza comes to the table barely larger than a personal pan from pizza hut and with about the same amount of topping shredded up and strewn about to look more substantial, the atmosphere seems suddenly less impressive. The crust is airy, thin light and crispy as expected of a wood fired pizza, but when the toppings are virtually the same things don't quite match up. If you or your other guests are past 7th grade and would like to be filled by what you eat, expect to order at least a pizza per person.

They went above and beyond for Veterans day! Most places rush you out and limit your menu options, but CPK let me pick ANY item on the menu (even though they only advertised a free pizza) AND gave me a free soda, too. Both the appetizer and meal were awesome, and the service was excellent! I will definitely be coming back!

I decided that working at CPK sounded like a great opportunity and the people seemed friendly and it would give me great work experience. I filled out an application online and knw that calling them back was always a good idea, it lets them know you want the job. So the first time I called, a staff mamber picked up, she was friendly I asked for the manager she said one moment, it took 10 minutes and still no one was there...the next time the I introduced myself to the manager and he said in a rude tone of voice "Im sorry I an barely hear you speak up, im gonna have to get on another phone its too loud in here, so i waited a minute, then i told him about my application, and he says also in a rude tone of voice "well first of all im in the middle of my lunch so looking at an application would be problematic" and second of all were not even hiring so if i checked your application i would have called you or notified you ok? and i hung up, couldnt believe how rude people in the food business are here in San Antonio, most people tell me everyone here is so friendly, I greatly disagree, I think San Antonio is full of snobs and rude Texans.
