This place has good pizza and pasta. Their service is hit or miss. Last time I spent 40 minutes waiting for a Togo order but they were a little busy. I suggest CPK for lunch if you are trying them out for the first time.

If you would like to see the taste of a Pizza taken to a whole new level then you must visit the California Pizza Kitchen. They use ingrediants that are not traditionally used as pizza toppings and create unique and tasty pizzas. I personally like their Tostada, California Veggie, Japanese Eggplant and Roasted Garlic Chicken Pizza but will recommend trying basically any pizza on their menu. The sedona tortilla and dakota smashed pea soups are excellent. The service at the Huebner Oaks location is also pretty good.

They went above and beyond for Veterans day! Most places rush you out and limit your menu options, but CPK let me pick ANY item on the menu (even though they only advertised a free pizza) AND gave me a free soda, too. Both the appetizer and meal were awesome, and the service was excellent! I will definitely be coming back!

When you are first seated inside and greeted by well lit and laid out tables, you begin to expect a unique experience. When your $12+ pizza comes to the table barely larger than a personal pan from pizza hut and with about the same amount of topping shredded up and strewn about to look more substantial, the atmosphere seems suddenly less impressive. The crust is airy, thin light and crispy as expected of a wood fired pizza, but when the toppings are virtually the same things don't quite match up. If you or your other guests are past 7th grade and would like to be filled by what you eat, expect to order at least a pizza per person.
