On getting Android MediaPlayer onError MEDIA_ERROR_UNKNOWN , Extra -19
I've been trying to reproduce problems we've been having with movies being played for Broken Sword - The Smoking Mirror Remastered during the past week.
We've had other problems where the game would fail to load for some users which we tracked down to: "E/AudioFlinger(1938): no more track names available".
This issue has been tracked down to Android having a maximum of 32 active AudioTrack objects (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11964623/audioflinger-could-not-create-track-status-12
Such an issue falls down to a very trivial change of a constant defining how many static audio streams we create within the game, however things must be throughly tested to ensure that it doesn't cause any other more quirky problems.
However during testing it's become evident that the audio player (with good reason) also requires an AudioTrack, so if you're getting such an error from MediaPlayer then you've run out of AudioTracks.
Meanwhile, a new version of BS2 will be released within the week.
