We asked 22 experts to share their views on Brown v. Board and Milliken v. Bradley. Now we want to know your thoughts. Has the promise of Brown been fulfilled? Has Milliken ultimately had a greater impact? Are these cases still relevant? We invite you to leave your thoughts in the comments section here or on the Ed. magazine site. Some responses may appear in the next issue of the magazine.

Did you know World Water Day is March 22?

The HGSE Green Team is hosting a number of events to encourage smart water habits during this month’s Water Awareness Campaign.

· Starting March 10, running all month long: Reusable Bottle Competition: To help raise awareness about the cost of disposables like plastic water bottles, the Green Team is challenging the HGSE community to submit photos (via social media) of themselves using their reusable water bottles. The most popular photos (most retweeted, “liked,” etc.) will win fun prizes (1st place: two New England Aquarium passes; 2nd Place: two AMC gold movie tickets; 3rd Place: water-awareness gift bag)! Submit your photos via Twitter and Instagram and include the following hashtags: #HGSEwater #greenharvard

· March 11-13 (11:30am – 1:30 pm): Join us in Gutman lobby during your lunch break and sample HGSE catering’s newest beverage offering: Eco-water and Spa-water (infused with delicious flavors and sliced fruits).

· March 24-28: Come admire the Green Team’s Water Display. Located in Gutman lobby, for the last week of March, this art display demonstrates just how much water the average shower can add up to and offers fun tips for cutting that shower time down to five minutes or less!
