Its obvious you weren't there, so maybe somewhere under your smarmy, proto-intellectual delivery you are truly just clueless as to what that uniform might mean to someone who has worn it, especially in this warborne generation. Regardless, these men had everyright to expose this pretender. His dreams and hopes were crushed? Boo fucking hoo. Some of us have put the bodies of dead friends on helicopters wearing that uniform, provided relief to natural disaster victims in that uniform... been blown up, shot at, and taken the lives of other human beings in that uniform. It isn't about stolen valor, its about phony honor. Was this kid really looking for NO recognition? Did he correct any passerby who thanked him for his service, as patriotic civilians and vets are oft wont to do? I doubt it. Would you be leient on the kid if he was wearing a NYPD officers uniform? But oh no....he was called out at the expense of his "feelings". Fuck his feelings. These ex-rangers from my point of view took the high road, avoided violence and achieved deserved compliance. He wasnt supporting his family in the service, if there are any. Its a weak bullshit excuse made by a liar who has to return to that campus now, exposed for what he is. Hats off to you, men. But for you sir, and anyone who allows and tolerates pretenders, fakes, liars and cheats- shame on you. Now go smoke your thin black cigarettes and tell your chums what an oppressive asshole I am, just like you did with these HEROES.
