There are times when checking luggage is best. If I can't lift my bag into the overhead by myself (when traveling alone), then I'll check. Arriving with a happy back is important to me :-).

I lived in Roanoke for 16 years +Nancy Brown. It was a great place to raise children. But I never took the hike along Roaring Run Creek. Guess I need to go back, visit my friends and hike again.
