I have attended Meyer's pool open swim many times and it is a nice place with friendly lifeguards and employees, however there have been any times after paying admission and choosing a lane to swim that I have been forced to move to another lane. The pool seems fit to lease it's lanes to various swim teams and water aerobics classes during so called 'open swim' times. The other day I was swimming for close to an hour in my lane when a class showed up and told me to move, they were rude about it and it seems to be an accepted policy there that some paying customers are more important than others. I go there to exercise and swim and many times have been forced to move to the very shallow lanes because of some class or swim team practice. I understand that the pool has to make money and I have no problem with sharing the pool with others I just have grown tired of having to constantly move to the shallows during open swim. I am a paying customer too and wonder why I am the only one making these compromises. It is rude and certainly does not in any way make 'open swim' in any way open. The pool offers an expensive season pass for swimming but I wonder who would pay for such a high priced thing and then play second fiddle to the more important classes and team practices?

Cool pool with a maximum depth of ~13 FEET. They had scuba divers testing, a 20 foot high dive and many lanes open. Had a great time and I'll definitely go again.
