To all, it is with great sadness that the Delaware County Fallen Firefighter & EMS Memorial Committee must unfortunately cancel tonight’s Candle Light Vigil with the Honor Guard.  Due to the amount of rain we have already had, what is expected today and tonight with the combining temperature, we feel that it is best to cancel this year’s event.
The members of the Delaware County Fallen Firefighter & EMS Memorial Committee and Honor Guard would like to extend our best wishes to each and every one of you, for a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and an Exciting and Safe New Year!

ROUND 2 of the DELAWARE COUNTY FALLEN FIREFIGHTER & EMS MEMORIAL COMMITTEE & THE WILLS FOR HEROES!

For some time now, the members of the Delaware County Fallen Firefighter & EMS Memorial Committee have been working on bringing special projects and training to each and every Law Enforcement, EMS and Fire Company Member in Delaware County. This is the second one this year, and the BEST part is that it is FREE! That’s right, FREE. FREE, FREE, FREE. There is no catch, there is no cost! The Committee has done the research and we cover the operational costs.

The Delaware County Fallen Firefighter & EMS Memorial Committee (that’s us), has joined forces with the group “Wills for Heroes” (and the Heroes are you!).

What Wills for Heroes is and how it works briefly is that a team of Legal Professionals work as a group and will come to pre-designated locations and work all day in a formatted schedule that is worked out in advance. What is provided is just like the name says “Wills”.
We are going to make several dates and locations available to you, you need go on-line and fill out the information on the “Wills for Heroes” web site and get scheduled.

It will tell you what you need to bring, and when to show up. You and your significant other (if you have one) just need to show up and the Legal Team with work with you and in about an hour per person, you will be leaving with your New Legal Documents in hand!

The First event filled in less than two days.
This is the Second and will be at the Cardington Stonehurst Fire Company, in Upper Darby on May 5th 2012.
The Third & Forth dates will be sent out soon, locations set at Green Ridge Fire Co., Aston & Garrettford Drexel Hill Fire Co., UD.
We are working on future dates now throughout the county and will be sending updates out soon.

If you have questions or are interested in hosting an event at your station down the road, please feel free to email me back!

Thanks for your time, and spread the news!
