The atmosphere is comfortable and elegant. The taco sampler is the way to go if its dinner for two. Mahi ceviche is phenomenal (and I don't care for onions or tomatoes usually). The salsa that comes before everything seems to be tomato paste base and is a little off-putting. The table side, fire grilled salsa is spicy and of great flavor. They also make the best guac I've had in Indianapolis... Table side.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience at Adobo Grill. The service was prompt and attentive, but not over barring. The wine list was quite good, but most of all the food was delicious and fresh. We only had raw food, we got the Deluxe platter and loved everything! Surprisingly it was quite busy for a Monday night, so it was a bit too noisy with people's chit chatter, but we didn't mind it too much.

We started our meal at Adobo with some fresh table side guacamole, a nice touch and go ahead and get it spicy, it isn't that spicy. The salsa that comes with the chips was a little too thin and sweet/plain for me, I prefer a chunkier salsa. After plowing through some fresh chips and chunky guac I ordered Tacos de Asada - simple steak tacos served on homemade corn tortillas. The flavor was just a little shy of something, more seasoning or flavor - I couldn't pin point it. It was served with a scoop or rice, it felt more like a lunch portion than a dinner, for the price at least. Finally, each taco was served with a single tortilla and it simply wasn't enough to contain the sauce and meat. They quickly fell apart, a second shell would make all the difference in this situation. The service was super helpful and fast.

One of the worst dining experiences ever! Went to celebrate Mother's Day and was embarrassed that I even considered bringing my family there. Service was horrible and restaurant wasn't even busy. Felt completely rushed the whole time and server came back after bringing completed checks to collect her tips, which I felt was very rude. We asked for a bowl for the salsa, because all they had out was plates and after a family member basically argued with the server that you can't eat salsa off of a plate, we were finally provided with one. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you enjoy overpriced margaritas with a spicy kick.

Negatives: Horrible food for the price. As a Latino-American, I was hoping it would be remotely authentic food given the amount of latinos in Indianapolis, but it was terrible, very bland. The portions are really small and super expensive ($12+). You're better off eating at Chipotle of Qdoba, this place makes those restaurants taste like they came from Oaxaca, Mexico. Positives: Great atmosphere, lighting, and decoration. The waiters were good and very friendly. The chips and salsa were good too. The food came quickly (group of 25).

The guacamole is very good. Every thing else is basically disgusting. It is covered in sour cream to cover the incredibly low quality. I cannot begin to express how inedible the enchiladas are, and the chicken requires serious investment to cut. If you want alot of tequila such that you are beyond tasting the food, this is the place for you. The sangria is cooking brandy, bitter vinegar red wine, and chopped apples as garnish on top. In a word, "vile".
