As hard as it is to go through the pain I endure it always produces some form of writing. The first thing I did once I could focus again was write my next blog article, " Rising Up When Life's Knocks Hit Hard" The pain has finally calmed down enough that I can work at a slow pace this week and hoping by next week be well enough to get up and back in the water again. Being able to walk and even sit up and have good days off function is miraculous. And though I wish it were 100% without more procedures and down times, I am grateful for the gift of being able to use my mind, gifts, and talents that have been born and developed from all of this. www.CheerfulHearts.com

Sometimes all we need is one person in our corner to love us when we are at our lowest. It has been quite some time since I had pain that took me out the way this last nerve ablation has. Typically I can work from bed and keep positive. But not this week. The words in this song, "Even if we can't find heaven, I will walk through hell with you, I'm gonna stand by you" rang true. Thankful for my husband, Kevin, who stands by my side in the hardest of times!
