I went and bought a new Kimber 1911 which was sold to me by their store manager Terry. I thought Terry spent a lot of time with me figuring out what I wanted in a 1911 and finding the right selection for me. He had rental range guns that were similar to some of the guns I was looking at, and he offered to let me try them out on their range. When he completed the sale, he gave me some tokens and sold me a box of ammo so I could try it out. I was not planning on shooting that day but Terry set me up and the next thing I knew, I was sending rounds down range with my new gun. This was not the first gun I bought there. A couple years ago I bought a couple 870's for my boys to hunt with. These were to replace a couple shotguns that were stolen from my home. Terry was sympethetic and made me a good deal. One of the guns I screwed up and used some aluminum base shells, which is not recommended. I wound up bringing the gun back in pieces! Terry helped me get it all back together, explaining along the way so that I would know how to do this myself it happened again. Terry also showed me how to take some 00 steel wool and EEZOX that they sell and remove some rust spots that were starting to develop. When he was done, the gun worked and looked like new. Another time, I took a Taurus 85 (Titanium) .38 which I did not buy there, but carried for years and was having what I though was some finish wearing off. Terry showed me how to make it look good again using some Flitz??? polish and 00 steel wool. That gun is still my ETC today. All and all, I get good service from Pop Guns store and range. Like any other place they have busy times when people get anxious and paitents runs short, but I usually go during the week when there is no wait. I know there are other ranges in town, but the people at Pop Guns seem to know me when I walk through the door. I enjoy shooting there, especially in colder or wet weather. My next visit there, I plan to have Terry sell me some night sights and install them on my 1911. There are a lot of big retail gun stores out there, but Pop Guns is more my speed.

This place is very dirty. The staff is not willing to help me and they made me feel like an inconvenience. The range is extremely dirty and poorly maintained. Terrible place for business. Go to highsmith guns in greenfield if you want a spotless place of business and cheaper prices

First review of any place I've ever been to...but honestly folks...This is the worst service I have EVER had...not just at a shooting range...but PERIOD. Somebody needs to take this group of snotty little douche-bags that pass as "the help" at this store and wipe the condescending smirks off their goofy faces. First off, I felt completely ignored the entire time I was in the store. And when I did finally get some general questions answered, all I got in return was some indirect sneering and a rolling of the eyes. Oh, "I'm sorry I don't work at an ammo shop making minimum wage"...I didn't realize I (as a customer) was suppose to kiss their... anyways, long story short: Find another place to do your gun shopping in central Indiana. Retired Marine, Husband, and EXTREMELY disappointed visitor of this establishment. -Henry

I've been coming here about half a year (summer 2013 - end 2013). I've always found the staff to be very knowledgeable and courteous. I've seen them help some first timers a couple times and they treat them with respect while answering their questions. I ended up buying an annual membership which pays for itself in short time (6 times I think), plus you can bring up to an extra two people with you for 5 dollars a person. This has helped me expose friends to sidearm familiarization and touching up on skills for others. With an annual range membership you can try any of the rental guns at no extra charge. Also great for letting others get a feel for what type of sidearm fits them best. Their prices are fair. I haven't seen any prices that I rolled my eyes at. I'd say this is a first stop for in the city shooting, and a solid place to do business for your firearm needs.

They do have a varied selection, but their staff could not be more rude and insolent. I went in trying to find parts for a gun I got from my grandfather. There were at least 3 clerks behind the counter and no more than 4 people milling around. After standing infront of a clerk for a bit, while he clearly did his best to ignore me, he finally sighed looked up at me and asked me, "what". I explained that I was trying to get parts to repair my grandfathers gun. He stated, "we don't sell parts", and walked off. So I stood there at the register for a long while until he finally came back and asked, "do you need something else?" Still trying to be polite I asked if they knew any good gun smiths. He plucked a card from a holder and tossed it in my direction, then walked off again. I left and left the card on the table. I won't return there or go to any place they are affiliated with. P.S. Their prices are higher than most any other gun store around indy that I've been to. Don't waist your time or patients.

This was the worst gun store i have ever been too!!! Rude sales staff , terrible system for getting people in the range ... I was told 30 minutes and 2 hours later i had to ask how much longer and was laughed at and told there where still 2 members in front of me. I left after 2 hours of waiting without shooting no sorry or apology or any kind of acknowledgement that i was inconvenienced. I had plenty of time while i was there to look at guns and I will warn anyone who was thinking this might be a place to buy a gun ..YOU ARE WRONG !!!! I found myself laughing under my breath thinking who in there right mind would pay this much for the few guns they had....blows my mind that the doors are still open on this dump... IF you want a gun try gun broker it will save you hundreds and you wont be disrespected by a bunch of rude morons who act as if you and your pocket full of money are an inconvenience to them i will be writing the owner and letting her know what a joke i think her store is... Don't believe me keep searching for reviews the web is littered with negative experience at this place ...I even heard one of the sales staff say the reason we have bad reviews on the web is because we tell people the truth about our guns ... no you idiot its because there is not one bit of customer service in your store and people see that ...its actually the opposite of customer service being rude to paying customers will always get you negative feedback stupid !!!!
