Yeah, I'd totally watch a TF2 movie.

Years ago, the games in the Need for Speed series tried attaching some really cheesy plotlines to make them seem like more than just racing fodder. Thankfully, they gave up pretending and basically just went "Here - cars, road. Now drive!". All was right with the world.

From the other end of the spectrum comes the movie based on the game, starring Jesse Pinkman and a sense that the film is taking itself far too seriously for a video-game based Fast/Furious cash-in.

There sooooo needs to be an option (beyond removing them from your circles) to turn off other people's +1s appearing in my stream.

Some people seem to load up a shotgun with +1s in the morning a go spray them across anything and everything they come across. Good for them but I just don't give a shit about what they're into. Also, G+ seems to think muting one is an invitation to swap it out for another so I can't even prune the bastards.

So it may just be eye candy but I'm still quite looking forward to Guillermo del Toro's monster/robot mash Pacific Rim.

The footage from WonderCon is great stuff!

If he's doing the whole trilogy, VII will be great, VIII will be better but IX won't make a lick of sense and be full of deathstar-sized plot holes.

Nah, mainly for Alias, Lost and Fringe. He's a creative bloke, a pretty good writer but when he comes to the end of things, he's usually painted himself into a corner and it all goes ka-blooey.

Nolan is just shit from the get-go ;)

No interest whatsoever in CoDBlOps2 but I'm all for more Peter Stormare. Made me chuckle.

Still quite looking forward to this despite it slowly creeping further and further down the calendar. :)

For a while now as you'll have probably noticed, Google have been sharing your +1s with people in your circles. Brilliant idea if everyone was into the same shit but since we're not, it has added whole slew of crap to our feeds from people we don't even have that slight allowance of 'familiarity forgiveness' for.

If you haven't already, you might want to switch off +1 sharing. (And if you don't, I'm on the verge of kicking your ass to the curb... just saying, like). Here's how...

* Hover your cursor over the top-left of the screen to open the Google+ main navigation.
* Select  'Settings'.
* Scroll down to the Apps and activities section and click 'Manage apps and activities'.
* Select the 'Google' tab at the top.
* Click 'edit' located under 'Visible to'.
* Choose a circle from the drop-down or click 'Custom' to include many circles and/or individual people. If you don't want anyone to see your activity updates, click 'Only you'.
* When you've finished, click 'Save'.

That's all it takes to stop sharing every random shitty post you encounter (apart from not pity +1'ing every god-damn thing you come across, of course).

But unlike RTs, which are basically "Share this tweet!", the +1 sharing has tied "Show the poster I like this post!" to "Share this post!", despite there already being tools to share posts if you should want to.

Why the flying fek does the G+ Home button now randomly toggle between single column view and two column view?!

It's bad enough there's a tiny delay from me hovering over the Home button while it slides the side panel out. Yeah, very pretty but in the tiny delay, I clicked Home and you didn't fucking register it!

Ah, now it's sticking with my preferred lesser-of-two-evils single column display but dredging up posts from two months ago and leaving muted posts in the stream. It's fantastic, whatever they've changed!

Teaser trailer for what was originally intended to be 'Enter the Dominatrix', DLC for Saints Row: The Third.

Some Dead Island: Riptide gameplay. It's looking a lot like just more Dead Island (which is no bad thing, the game was criminally underrated) but with added water. Guns look a bit more effective on the shambling dead this time round.

In other news, Volition plus the Saints Row IP and Metro IP have been picked up by Koch Media (owners of Deep Silver, makers of Dead Island, amongst other games) in the THQ yard sale. As a fan of the Saints Row games and Metro 2033, I'm good with this result :)

No idea who got Red Faction but it'd be a shame if that license didn't find a home.
