Best Indian food in Pittsburgh! I love their stuff and their staff is great to deal with. They are informative, fun, and will help you in whatever way they can. I've eaten in and gotten take out a bunch of times over the past six years, definitely worth a try!

I love People's Indian, especially their super lunch buffet deal. The food is always great - I know because I go there all the time - with plenty of options, and at $9.00 for all you can eat lunch buffet, well, what more do I need to say. If you like Indian, you will like People's.

People's is fantastic. Their lunch buffet in general is consistently outstanding: it has a good mix of vegetarian-friendly options, and meat options; it has naan, samosas and pakoras; and to me, most important - it always has very fresh food: if you watch, you will notice the kitchen constantly bringing out still-steaming fresh food throughout your meal (even if you come in on the late side of lunch, which is very nice). It's a bit more than $8 for lunch which is absurdly reasonable for the quality, and the restaurant itself is clean and pleasant. They also do delivery which my fiancee and I have splurged on a few times, and food has always come well-prepared and seemingly straight out of the oven (not an easy feat to accomplish in Pittsburgh to my experience).

I've been eating here for close to 15 years. The buffet is great with so many options at an amazingly low price! Great place to meet friends. The salad bar has iceberg, and the ranch is a bit too thick for me, but plenty of tasty chutneys. The hot bar has a lot of choices, usually always tandoori chicken, and at least one paneer, along with another 4 dishes? Don't forget to have some Chai, great spices! Oh, and you can have both Galub Jamun AND rice kheer for dessert !

Ordered pickup. The food portions were perfect despite some negatives left by a few others. The quality of the food taste authentic. The taste of the food was delicious and filling. We ordered the Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Masala and i would recommend! Is nice that they offer smaller portion appetizers so you don't have to spend 8 to 10 bucks on just one thing you can spend 2 to 3 and try multiple items! I will be back!

This place is a blessing. Everything on the menu is great. I go with the vindaloo and it is fierce. Great late night date spot to take the woman.
