I just started to blog about my experiences with learning Teeline. There’s not much there yet – an “intro” article and some stuff I posted here or in the Shorthand Reddit. But the  blog will grow as my Teeline proceeds.

(And sorry about the preview with German text. The blog is bilingual and G+ prefers the German version…)

In case you have missed it: the Teeline group https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/112274173180941575512 is quite active now. I’m learning Teeline and frequently post my writing to ask for hints and corrections. At least two people always give helpful comments.

So if you are also learning, joint the fun! :-)

I'm not quite sure if this would better fit in the "Penmanship Porn" reddit, but I'm quite happy with this "goods". Compared to the course book, my Gs are rather wide. Are there any blends/abbreviations that Employ a wider letter? I've seen that e.g. a large L means LR. Might be there is a wide G for GR or whatever.
Coming from German shorthand, I'm a bit anxious about getting shape, size and position right...

Once more, can you read this? My course book (Teeline Gold) introduces blends very late and I'm not there yet. But the TR blend is really useful, so try to use it already. Is it correct in the two situations where I used it?

The same two sentences in two languages/systems:
In reply to +Nathanael Farley, "This is how I write Teeline. This is how I write shorthand." For comparison, also in German. ;-)

User “journalizing” on reddit suggested in a comment on Reddit (http://www.reddit.com/r/shorthand/comments/2u0jaz/any_errors_in_this_teeline_stenogram/)  about my last Teeline:  “Post some Teeline without a plaintext key and see if we can figure it out.”

So can you read this sentence I picked from the “Simple English” (still hard enough to write for me…) #Wikipedia start page? Any suggestions about the outlines? I’m a bit worried about the first outline on the last line, which looks less like Teeline and more like a goalie jumping to catch the ball in the top right corner, drawn like #xkcd. ;-)

I slant the “capitals dashes” and the full stop the other way, which is much easier for a lefthander. (At least for me.)
