Stellar service with a killer view of sunset & beach. Our server, Justin was THE best. It isn't cheap but that isn't a factor when you eat here bc you come for the fantastic view. Justin told us the restaurant's history which made the place more charming. Such a romantic, classy, old Hollywood glamour vibe...would return in a heartbeat! Especially for the brunch which sounded delish.

Great views of the Pacific Ocean and Ocean Beach. Our waiter was very friendly, brought us extra pop-ups, since we were slamming them down, and brought us plastic condiment holders so we could take some of the really good orange marmalade home. Fish in chips were fine, salmon Caesar was good, 2 of our group had the "butler" and liked it , and the last had shrimp salad on rye and loved it.

This is, by far, the greatest sunset views of the Pacific in all of the Bay Area. The history of the Sutro Baths, relics, and feeling of the years past are palpable. Adam Jones is such an excellent Chef, his dishes are true works of art. Very fairly priced for ambiance, delicious meals and a MUST for out of town visitors.

Cool place to be able to come and visit. The view from Cliff house is amazing and the view of the sunset is beautiful. There is also great food, however it is a bit pricey.

Cliff House is the place you want to go if you want to impress your date with a gorgeous view overlooking the ocean and rocks down below. The view is amazing and staring off into the vast, infinite ocean is is breath taking. The servers here are a little slow when you ask them something and the host was a bit of a pretentious person making some strange comments, but overall the staff was there when you need them. The food was not that bad, but not that great either. There is a pretty high mark-up on the food, possibly because of the location and history of the restaurant. Overall, I would recommend this place to take your significant other on a date that will truly wow them.

The views from this restaurant alone are worth going here. The food was pricy, but worth it and the waiter we had was very nice and personable. Which can be tough to find. The inside of the restaurant was very unique and apparently has quite a history. Definitely recommend going here if you're visiting the San Francisco area.

I love this place for taking friends who're visiting the city. The food is top notch, and the drinks are quite artisan. They take their food and drinks seriously. The whole time you're enjoying your meal you have a beautiful view of the Pacific ocean. The ONLY reason it lost a star is because despite how good all the food is, it is nowhere near worth the price. Very expensive. Plan to spend close to $100 for a group of 4.

We've been to Cliff House many times. Make sure to get there early before the crowds. And also try to walk around the vicinity. This restaurant has one of the best views in all of Northern California. Enjoy!
