NDT Article of the week:The association of #calcium oxalate deposition in #kidney allografts with graft and patient survival.
Calcium oxalate (CaOx) deposition is an under-recognized cause of impaired kidney function. Palsson et al. report that CaOx deposition is both common (19.4%) after kidney transplantation and associated with adverse outcomes (DGF, graft failure and death), although it remains unclear whether CaOx deposition is cause or consequence of DGF. Time for a prospective study!

Freely available until Sept. 23rd at 23.59!
