I’d venture to say we’re all familiar with detox diets and cleanses that rid our bodies of toxins. There are some who claim our bodies can eliminate toxins naturally and that they don’t build up in our organs, needing ...

I shudder to think where I’d be if not for Jesus. His presence in my life is everything to me. I can’t imagine life without Him. I just can’t. It makes sense that I long for time alone with Him. I recognize though, there’...

Anytime there’s a name change, something new is taking place. I remember how I felt when I changed back to my maiden name after being divorced for 12 years. My kids were almost adults. The attachment to my married name didn’t...

When I tell someone how long I was a single mom, their expression is one of hopelessness, thinking something like, I can't wait that long! Or I’d never survive being single that long. Or if God makes me wait that long for...

Staying on an island off the coast of Florida, we arose early and went to ocean front windows to take in the view. But there wasn’t a view. Thick fog hovered along the ocean surface and invaded the beach. We were so...

Story
Tagline
A married writer, songwriter, thinker (too much), loves the outdoors. Founder of Spring Ministries, Inc., a single parent ministry.
Introduction
Terri's writing began in the middle of her journey as a single mom. She poured out in the pages of her private journals to cope with the struggles and triumphs she experienced. What began as a writing secret to ease her pain, turned into a passion for writing to single moms.

She completed her first book in a series, "Markers for Single Moms: Finding God's Direction in the Chaos," and is nearing completion of a 2nd one, "Prayer Markers for Single Moms: When All Seems Lost." She wrote and composed "When All Seems Lost" performed by Sara Oliver, which is the inspiration for Prayer Markers. The song is available on iTunes, Google Play and most major music stores.

In 2011, Terri founded Spring Ministries, Inc., a single parent ministry. A housing ministry will be opening Spring 2015.

Terri is published with Chicken Soup for the Soul and has written numerous feature articles for a local newspaper.
