My favorite status / photo / checkin app, Path, just released a huge 3.0 update https://path.com/ Especially cool are the many image filters it has now -- far better than Instagram. If you have an iPhone, try this app today.

There's a new CMS that was released as a public beta yesterday, called Craft. http://buildwithcraft.com/

It's targeted for those of you used to mid-level, locally installable tools like Drupal and ExpressionEngine, especially if you like to start with a blank slate of content and HTML.

It uses Twig as the templating language and the Yii PHP framework as the base code, and it's written by one of the top ExpressionEngine add-on developers.  This is getting interesting!

I'm always interested in the way new technology spreads in the older, entrenched industries.  Air travel, medicine, utility companies, construction... some technology is too powerful to ignore, and other tech is too expensive and un-tried to implement.
