THIS HOTEL IS A NIGHTMARE! My wife and I stayed here last Saturday night.I would like to have said we slept here but that was not the case.We were plonked in room 307 which has a window with a view of a dirty alley running behind the rooms or maybe it's an escape route. After attending a music event at the Greek Theater we returned to our room at about 10pm and commenced to unwind by watching some tv in bed. That's when we noticed a loud horrible humming sound coming from behind the wall at the head of our bed. This intrusive sound continued unabated all through night and was still going when we left to check out at about 7.30am in the morning. It was then that I walked out of our room and around the corner to see a large coin operated washer and dryer up against the wall adjoining our bedroom...right where the head of our bed sat. These idiots had put us next to a laundry and allowed it to be operated all through the night. And I seriously doubt it was hotel guests who were washing their clothes load after load through the whole night.I would compare this hotel to ALCATRAZ which was also clean and built for punishment. When we arrived to check in at about 2.30pm on Saturday afternoon there was no one else within a hundred feet of reception except us and yet Mr Hotshot behind the front desk had his head buried in the computer and told us he had to do this and would be only a couple of minutes. So we had to stand there while Omar farted around when we were tired from our long drive from San Diego and just wanted to to get into our room.Even then he fed us some bullshit that the room wasn't ready yet and it would not be until 3.30pm that we could pick up the keys.He asked for our cell phone number so he could let us know when the room was ready. When we finally realized he had texted us we returned to the reception desk and had to stand around waiting even longer just to pick up our keys because there was line of people waiting for Omar to work out how to use the computer. You will have to chance death driving into the hotel carpark because of the ARMAGEDDON GRIDLOCK on the road outside. The breakfast dining room on the 4th floor had the look of a McDonald's in a 3rd world country and the food on offer wouldn't be fit to be served in a prison.DISGUSTING...that's why it's free.

Wonderful! We stayed here for 5 nights and it was excellent - the rooms were huge and were quiet at night, even considering we were facing on to the main road. There was a free hot breakfast every morning, which was fine and convenient us, eating them out of coffee, cereal, toast, and pancakes. A great location - walked every night for 5 minutes and we'd reach tourist hotspots like the Walk of Fame and the Chinese Theatre, as well as heaps of restaurants. There were taxis on call at the hotel, meaning we were always able to get a ride anywhere quickly, and it is only about 10 minutes drive to the various movie studios. The hotel was always clean and modern, and the staff were excessively friendly and helpful. A great hotel in a great location for a great price - would highly recommend this hotel!

Clean rooms, very helpful staff, very satisfied and will stay again next time I visit. Omar at the front desk was courteous and professional, made it a very positive experience.

We had a very pleasant stay. The entire staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel is a short walk from the Dolby Theater and much more. I definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a clean, friendly, and budget conscious hotel.

The valet staff was amazing anytime day or night. The day and night clerk weren't very friendly, to the point they made me laugh. They did not smile or seem to appreciate their job. It felt like a true bother for them to help a customer. The night clerk went as far as shutting himself in the office, making himself unavailable to the customers. The room was very clean and comfortable. I felt very safe and the location was perfect for sight seeing. Besides the experience with the clerks, I would stay here again. Those clerks did not rain on my parade!

Great location to Hollywood area, short 5 min walk MetroLink subway station. Asked for and got 5th floor room in back away from busy street out front which made for a quite stay. They also allowed me to leave my car in their garage for most of the day AFTER I checked out for no extra charge.
