On the suggestion of a couple of you who have helped me already, I'm posting this here once and once only.  I'd avoided doing this because I wasn't sure it was okay, but I've seen others posting occasional calls for help and those I talked to encouraged me to do this.  So, here goes.

TL;DR: follow steps 1-4 in paragraph 2 to help me earn a publication contract and get your own copy of Rise for free.

Longer:  I am giving Inkshares a try and could use your help.  Those of you that have helped me already when I reached out in PM are awesome.  I've been working my friends on FB one by one with a method that allows them all to pre-order a copy for free.  It's slow but it is working; only had a few people flat out reject helping me with this method.  So, I'm going to share that method with you all.  The steps below are the method for helping me for free.  Of course, you can check out my project at https://www.inkshares.com/projects/rise-4249?referral_code=cd07e0a9 if you'd rather support it in other ways (buying copies/sharing the project/following it.)

1) go to http://www.inkshares.com make an acct.  Then go to tiny.cc/riseonink and follow the story and/or me as an author (either one of these simply alerts and directs me to your profile.)
2) I follow you back.
3) You earn $10 in credits ($5 from joining and another $5 from me following you)
4) Use this link after you have your credits https://www.inkshares.com/projects/rise-4249?referral_code=cd07e0a9 to pre-order my book for free:-)

You can also use it on another project (but not your own.)  I can recommend several very intriguing sounding novels I've backed using other credits I've earned because my supporters have all used my shared link to pre-order.  Additionally, if you choose to toss your hat into Inkshares or into an Inkshares collection contest like the Nerdist Collection going on right now (Rise is currently #12), let me know.  I have a lot of credits to use supporting other authors in that community and all the better if I can support an FSFNet author!

If you haven't found it, I recommend you go check out http://www.inkshares.com and their new reader driven publication process.  It is no easier than any other method, but it is an interesting platform that blends traditional publication house with crowdfunding.  Readers select which novels they want to see published by committing to pre-orders of a book if it reaches its publication goal.
