I gave these people a stellar review because they provide stellar customer service, which is rare.
Yark Subaru

Couldn't be happier with my 2015 Forester or my buying experience with Yark. I was dreading dealing with all the details of picking out a car, arranging financing, getting rid of my old car, yada yada yada, and Yark made everything easy and comfortable and accomplished in 24 hours. They pointed out a scratch on my vehicle that was so small I wouldn't even have noticed it, and arranged to give me a loaner while it was being repaired (free, natch). I went with Yark because my local dealer in Ann Arbor was a disappointment, and it was definitely worth the extra 45 or so miles. Shout out to Mia Knicely; she goes above and beyond on every level. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. In fact, they're looking for a suitable used car for my mother right now.

Today's Dick Move of the Day courtesy of MLive/The Ann Arbor News, for mentioning this poor guy's prior conviction in a story about how he was KILLED BY LIGHTNING.
The 32-year-old Saline man found dead in a Pittsfield Township park Wednesday was killed by a lightning strike, according to an autopsy done Thursday morning.

It seems the mainstream media has finally caught up – not everyone who gets screwed by Google is a spammer getting his just deserts. MetaFilter has apparently been dying a slow and painful death as a result of the Google Panda updates. And, I'm sad to say a little part of me smiled.

See if you can follow me here, because this Google Merchant Center shit is insane

The way the Merchant Center is set up, you cannot, under any circumstances, use the same email address to administer multiple Merchant Center accounts for your clients.  The only way you can do this is to either create a separate Google account for each client Merchant Center account, or else request a Multi Client Account with your clients' accounts as sub accounts to your own MCA.

However, you cannot request an MCA unless you already have your own Merchant Account, and according to the Google AdWords rep I just spent half an hour on the phone with, you can't created your own Merchant Account  unless you have a website to post in it. I.E. your own website.

I don't run any ecommerce sites of my own, and I don't care to put my own site into the Merchant Center - there's no reason for it. There will never be any feed from it, there's no Trusted Store issue because I don't sell anything from it.

So instead I have to make or track separate accounts for each of my clients Merchant accounts - which isn't going to happen, what's going to happen is we just won't use PLA ads for all but one client.

How is that a win?  Google's reasoning here is fucking insane.

When talking with small or medium sized businesses clients one of the common questions is why do I need to need to add new...

This is what a Panda 4 recovery looks like for a particular site that has (literally) millions of empty event pages for pretty much every town, village, city and county in the US.  Oh, and many of these events don't exist, and have never existed. I'm in a position to know that. They're just empty placeholders with misleading page titles.  Graph is courtesy of SEMRush. Number one in the hood, G.

I don't remember to check in here very often, either… [as you can tell based on the fact you posted this in April and I'm responding in June! It's probably been 2-3 months since I've checked in.

Nothing wrong with the Ann Arbor office, but we can't get a signal pretty much anywhere in Ann Arbor, on three different phones. Afraid we're gonna have to go back to Verizon.

I've been dealing with this Firestone for years, and am perfectly happy to do so. They are always helpful, always friendly, and almost always can get whatever work I need done quickly, whether scheduled or unscheduled. If I get socked with needing a big repair, they work with me to figure out what has to be done first and what can be delayed so that I don't have to take such a big hit all at once. I don't find their pricing unreasonable for the time and effort spent. Miles better than the dealership.

Probably my favorite Korean food in the area, and compared to most dine-in places in Ann Arbor, *very* reasonably priced. I love the sizzling Be Bim Bop. Also, their fried dumplings (Gyoza in a Japanese restaurant, do not remember what they call them here) are excellent, being crispy on the outside - I hate a gummy dumpling. They also give you a ton of little side dishes with your meal (the obligatory kim chee, of course, but at least half a dozen others) and will cheerfully bring more of any dish you particularly like. Service is good. You can easily fill up on $10 or $12/person, and still have some leftovers to take home. Recommend!
