Thanks to Vanessa for the Fabulous Netmums review of Daisy Birthing Airdrie classes, can't wait for your new arrival!

"I was recommended the classes by a former Daisy mum and a midwife. I was skeptical at first but I am so glad I tried the classes - they have been very worthwhile and I feel more prepared and calm about the whole labour process plus have had great advice about things to buy to prepare for baby coming.

Julie is a fantastic teacher - she is welcoming and friendly and no question is too daft. Even though she must get asked the same things repeatedly she is never in a rush to explain something. Her knowledge is incredible and it has been a great learning experience to understand child birth and the changes to your body. It has been wonderful meeting other pregnant women and getting the time to just talk/laugh about how you are feeling with others who are going through the exact same thing. Every week I leave feeling relaxed, full of knowledge and ready to face the next week of pregnancy."

Daisy Birthing Lanarkshire, classes for ladies from 14 weeks pregnant till birth. here's why Stephanie enjoyed her Daisy Birthing classes so much
"After a recommendation from a friend, I signed up for a block of Daisy Birthing classes in Airdrie while pregnant with my first baby last year. At the end of the first class I knew I'd made the right decision to become part of the Daisy family of mums and mums to be. As I was the only one of my friends and family having a baby at that time I wanted to meet other new mums in my area that knew exactly how I was feeling throughout my pregnancy and who I could speak to about the upcoming birth.

The class format was fantastic with time for a chat around the room where everyone can say how their week has been, then some breathing and gentle exercise, some education about what to expect from labour and birth and finally a relaxation section to round off the class.

I looked forward to my Wednesday night class every week and felt really lucky that I was able to complete 3 blocks of classes before my baby boy was born in February.

The instructor Julie makes you feel totally at ease and reassures you that no question, worry or doubt is silly. As well as coming away from the classes feeling totally relaxed and confident about giving birth for the first time, I felt I'd made a really great bunch of friends in the other Daisy mums.

I'm now attending the Daisy Tinies classes with my son and intend to continue onto the Wrigglers with the same group of ladies that we started our journey with at Daisy Birthing.

Can't recommend highly enough! Thanks to Julie and Daisy Foundation for a great experience so far!"
