Our four levels of oral health

“My teeth don’t hurt, so my gums and teeth must be healthy. I don’t need to go to the dentist.” Does this sound familiar? Many people feel this way and ignore their dental health until they have a major problem. Most people don’t wait until their car breaks down on the side of the highway before they take it in for an oil change or tune-up. Why should you treat your mouth any different?

After the age of 35 more teeth are lost due to gum disease than they are to decay. Today, gum disease can be controlled with regular visits to your dentist and good oral health habits. At HealthPark Dentistry we don’t just clean your teeth; we help you learn good oral health habits so you can be a part of keeping your mouth healthy. Each time you are in for a cleaning, we will evaluate your level of dental health. We will tell you the level of dental health you have achieved and offer the level of care that matches that level. This means you will only receive the treatment you need to either improve, or maintain, the level of health you have achieved. Our 4 level approach is designed to help you be a successful partner in keeping your mouth healthy. As you get healthier, you need less treatment from us, and this means:
- Lower costs
- Teeth for a lifetime
- No gum surgery
