These guys are so super friendly and helpful! I just called to schedule a snowboard tune/wax and Matt went way out of his way to help me get ready to board on Saturday. Stoked.

I can relate to the previous review, customer services does not appear to be at the top of their priority list. We tried renting road bikes here and had some issues with peddles, their response made us feel like our business wasn't really needed. Ended up going to boot doctors by the gondy and had a great experience, would highly recommend renting from them.

I am a 13 year old girl who went to Gravity Works with my family to rent mountain bikes for the afternoon. Eric, the man at the counter, was fitting us for helmets. Most of the helmets were too large for me, and some too small. When I told him that my helmet didn't fit he answered with a VERY RUDE and SARCASTIC response; " Are you just gonna stand there and whine about it or are you gonna take it off? " I politely ignored his remark and tried on more helmets. However, when I asked if they had another one of the helmet my sister had tried on, he said no, even though I clearly saw 3 more of the exact same helmet on the way to the bathroom. Eric was very lazy and cared more about not walking 10 steps than helping paying customers. Also, my friends helmet was obviously too large for her, yet Eric purposely ignored that, and did not seem to care about our safety what so ever. " ehhh it seems fine to me," he said. Though we mentioned to Eric that we weren't very experienced mountain bikers he failed to explain the specific gears and mechanisms on this particular bike even though we asked. Because of this, half way through our ride my chain broke off, forcing me to walk my bike quite a ways to find help. Luckily a very nice man was able to reattach it for me. Overall, our experience at Gravity Works (specifically Eric) was very unpleasant and threatened our safety. I would not go back again, and would recommend Telluride Boot Doctors for mountain bikes.
