To keep your house dry and mould free this winter economically, consider checking your bathroom extract fan using a square of toilet paper to test it had the suck to hold at least that. If it's not working, the moisture is not getting removed from the room.
If you have a tanked hot water system and 'system' Boiler, consider investing OpenTRV or other programmable TRV system (I'm looking to you, Nest) and having it set heat the bathroom to at least 18c when you're likely to be having showers/baths. Or when the hot water is being run off (on the tanks call for heat line?).
Because Heated air absorbs more moisture, extracting that from the room will dry it (and anything in the room like drying clothes) much more rapidly, and also prevent cold surfaces giving somewhere for the moisture to condense.
