As I've said, "If I was offered a job as a writer, I'm technically not sposed to take it. (If u know me, tho, this is not in my personality. I'd do it n let the govt figure out the mess.)"
This would mean I can't write a book, either (or even make a movie about my life) The govt made me able to handle my SSDI but left me vegetative http://thoughtfulveg.blogspot.com/2012/11/competent.html I was never conserved n can never have income. I can only have say over that SSDI check. I'll do things n let the govt figure it out. This is a big area n I haven't tackled it yet.
You won't find this document in any medical record. It's here by chance. During my hospitalization at many hospitals, this was thrown into a box. It was written by my doctor at the time to Social Security. The motivation was ...

When I could finally say a word, I told my Mom I still felt like I had a mask on. She wanted to know more, but I couldn't.  When I read this, that described it!
“Imagine you wake up, locked inside a box,” says Adrian Owen. "It's a perfect fit, down to every last one of your fingers and toes. It's a strange box because you can listen to absolutely everything going on around you, yet your voice cannot be heard. In fact, the box fits so tightly around your face and lips that you can't speak, or make a noise. At first, this feels like a game. Then reality sets in. You see and hear your family lamenting your fate. You're too cold. Then too hot. You're always thirsty. The visits of your friends and family dwindle. Your partner moves on. And there's nothing you can do about it." http://www.bbc.com/future/story/20140421-inside-the-minds-of-the-dead
Thousands of patients remain trapped in a vegetative state between life and death. Three scientists are working to free them, as Roger Highfield reports.

Yrs ago the govt decided I didn't need a payee n I could handle my own Social Security Disability. http://thoughtfulveg.blogspot.com/2012/11/competent.html I was left vegetative, n this is where problems happen.
Since I could handle money I could work. (Not wash a table, but write about a table.) Job trng programs are not set up to do this, tho. Since my physical symptoms are so severe, I was left vegetative.
Well I'm slowly coming out of that. I get things that look completely idiotic. Nothing exists to classify me in between. If I had been given MCS instead of PVS this wouldn't have happened.
If I was offered a job as a writer, I'm technically not sposed to take it. (If u know me, tho, this is not in my personality. I'd do it n let the govt figure out the mess.)

Someone in another country asked if I could help him. I thought about that. How? Then, http://braininjuryknow.blogspot.com/2010/12/rehab-at-home.html It's set up for little available services. His country didn't have any.

50 + 50
When I was little, my cousins called me Doogie Howser. I already had the beginnings of genius, that first 50 in the 50 + 50. Pull-out in school started in the 4th grade. I was sent to the 6th grade for reading. Before that it was piano. I had heard people s...

I added a ton to tell u what happened after my BA. My life wasn't typical before or after the brain bleed. This opens the possibility of a congenital savant who had a brain injury... n now is more? +Erik Driscoll  +Darold Treffert, M.D.

the famous vegetable brain
Introduction

I have a BA in Psychology, and an MA in Special Education. I worked in disability, early  childhood disability, and for mental health prior to my incident. (For some reason I knew what to do, but couldn't move. I now have limited movement. All of this is typed with one finger.)

I'm a "vegetable", or PVS. I now have 1 finger I use.

My local newspaper did a story which a friend scanned into here, http://thoughtfulveg.blogspot.com/2012/02/angela.html

Keep doing your exercises, http://braininjuryknow. blogspot.com/2010/12/rehab-at- home.html. Even if it's years since your brain injury occurred.
