A mini expedition to Norway's second largest island, Senja. Situated north of the polar circle, the island of Senja offers spectacular mountains and fjords - and in the summer the Midnight Sun! Equipped with geodetic tools we will inspect the highest mountains, confirm 3D position, explore the dramatic fjords with a tropical look and much more. As usual, these expedition by BLB will always have a scientific angle and geoscience as well as biological observations will be recorded. And there will be pictures of course.

Here is +Ed Parsons views (like in pictures) of the Linked Geospatial Data workshop in London earlier this month. #lgd14   +Bente Lilja Bye can be spotted a couple of places. It was a really great workshop, both with respect to content and people!
First day of the Joint W3C/OGC meeting on Linked Data and Geospatial Data hosted at +Campus London. Lots of interesting discussion, although I'm not sure the communities are quite using the same language yet..
