Lol, John, I was a junior in high school, and those are my thoughts exactly!  I still feel the same as I did then, the spirit is willing but the body says fuck you!!

This was our song until you had to be called home before me at the age of 21.  Growing old is no fun without you.  I miss you, Margo.a

Wow the stuff they brainwashed us with in the 70's.  I remember about half of these. Thank you so much for bringing them back!

The first time donating was fine, however the second time, the girl who put in the needle didn't seem to know what she was doing. I could tell in her manner that she had done something wrong, but it didn't hurt any more than it had the first time. When they came to remove the needle (a different person removes it than the one who put it in) they kept asking me who did it. Obviously something was wrong. Several of the girls look alike and it took a while to track down the girl who did it. The two techs talked among themselves and said something about it being a "short draw" and that she had entered my information wrong in the machine. I woke up the next morning and my inner elbow looked like someone had taken a hammer to it. A four inch patch all the way around was dark purple, blue and yellow around the edges. When I went back they would not tell me why my arm bruised, nor would they take any responsibility, nor would they explain anything about the injury. All they said was that I could not come back until my arm had healed. As for how to care for it, I was told three different things by three different techs as I kept coming back hoping to still donate only to be turned away. One told me to put ice on it, one told me to alternate hot and cold compresses, the third told me no ice at all, just heat. I am not selling plasma out of the goodness of my heart. I needed the money to have food to eat and gas to drive to work in between paydays because my checks had been shorted at work. THEY injured me, refused to take any responsibility for it and prevented me from donating, REFUSING to take blood from MY GOOD ARM. The intake techs were friendly and professional. However as far as the techs that stuck in the needle in my vein, they were understaffed and the one who injured me was incompetent. I would not recommend this place unless you just really like gambling with the risk of injury. .

We cannot afford to eat here all the time, the menu is very pricey (at least for us, averaging $10 a person whenever we go), but it is worth it. My only complaint is that you cannot call in orders to go because the menu has never been put online, nor is there a website for the restaurant. Other than that it is a great place. The inside could use one of those Restaurant Impossible makeovers, but the food is beyond reproach and the service is friendly, the wait never being that long.

I got nostalgic for Sheri and decided to look her up and found she is still doing business in W. Texas. I left Big Spring for Corpus 15 years ago and still have not found a better artist than Sheri. She has done four pieces for me and I would praise her til the cows come home. Many have come and gone but Sheri is the best there is, best there was, best there will be.

This complex hates pets and pet owners. We were railroaded into paying a $300 pet deposit for feeding cats that never have set paw in our apartment. We were then told that we had to keep our cats inside our patio (yeah, try to corral a cat) and even when we DID this, they waited until we were not home and called Animal Control to steal our pets. When we moved here 8 years ago it was a really nice place. Then the property was sold to some of the rudest, most unpleasant, heartless, greedy people I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They see us as simply a dollar amount and not human beings. IF YOU OWN PETS DO NOT COME HERE.
