I have been there many times since I live not to far. When I first started to go there the food was excellent and the service matched. Now almost three years later the service has declined as well as the food. We did take out tonight and the meals we did get were cold. We were missing a meal and when I called to let them know I got the worst attitude from the person answering the phones.

I never thought I could get food this good in Worcester County...especailly from a restaurant in a strip mall! This was our first time at 88s B+G, we went to the bistro at halloween time for their 'mascarade ball' and were fairly dissapointed. My boyfriend got the ham+cheese panini that was on special, which he wasn't too thrilled about- but it was because he didn't read the sandwich description as to what kind of cheese. We started with a house salad and onion soup. I'm not positive if the dressing was house made, but if it was it was the BEST italian dressing I've had. The onion soup was amazing! I had the prime rib, I told them to give me as rare of a piece as possible, and I did get a pretty rare piece, however it was colder than I would have liked, and came with a side of asparagus that was waaay too salty for my liking. My meal included all 3 courses for 13.88 so after the soup and prime rib, I also got dessert. My boyfriend and I both agreed it was the BEST piece of cheesecake either of us have ever had. It was light and creamy and had a really good flavor. We both ordered drinks, they had a cotton candy martini which was amazing! Anything cottong candy usually tastes like vomit too me, so I didn't have very high hopes, but it wasnt cotton candy tasting as all, it was sweet and fruity and delicious. They poured the martini over a tuft of cotton candy...very pretty! My BF also got their draft beer sampler, your choice of 5 varieties of beer totalling 36(ish?) ounces. How can you go wrong with that?! Or server was great, the entire staff was very friendly. The only complaint I can make other than the salty asparagus, was the bar did not have chambord or champagne, aaand it was valentines day weekend. Other than that absolutely amazing experiance and will definatly be going back!!

I've been here about 7 or 8 times and can honestly say that I have never had a descent meal. I generally won't give a restaurant a bad review until I've been there at least 5 times. Some restaurants can't make a decent plate of pasta. Some can't cook a descent steak, or cook a good cut of pork. Some restaurants can't grill up a decent burger. Some restaurants have poor appetizers. But when a restaurant fails in all of those areas, all it is left with is salad and drinks. And when the only good things your "restaurant" offers are salads and alcohol, you should maybe just cut your losses and turn the place into a bar.

They were having a lobster bucket special and this was a great thing! Lobsters were great and cooked perfect. We have been here numerous times in the last 6 months and have always enjoyed our meals. My favorite being either the black and blue steak or the buffalo chicken parm. They have a great selection of draft beer and full bar. It can get a bit noisy if there are a lot of people but we don't mind it. They have a great patio and water feature outside and you would never know it by looking at the place. It is a neat place with lots of seating options in the summer from the outside to the bar and to the dining room. So depending on our mood and the people we are with we opt for seating accordingly it is a nice option.

Food is good but the portions are small. Service is never really good either. Usually takes 10min before the waitress acknowledges you and asks about drinks...then another 10min to get them. There are better options down the road in Webster

The outside is decieving - you think its going to be a hip place with different food. Its not. Very mediocre. The lobster bisque was actually cold - not warm, not cool - cold. My "teriyaki" steak had absolutely no teryiaki to it. Plus the sirloin strip steak I got was so chewy I though I was going to need a jaw replacement. I had a coupon for a free appetizer and they wouldnt let me use it on my soup. Soup was 1/2 the price of an appetizer. I dont think the place will be in business long.

Love the food - as long as your talking the 3 course for $12.99 Sunday-Wednesday. If you go on a Friday night, well all I can say is Crowded, Slow and way too LOUD! The only time my date has ever said the words 'this place is too expensive' - not so much the money as the combination of no service and echoing walls. BUT if you go during the week and sit in the dining room side, it is a very nice place and decent food. Have even taken my parents here for early dinner on Wed. and they liked it.
