For +Carl-Eric Menzel .  Can anyone who's better at accents than me localize it to somewhere more than "South"? (EDIT: He's from Knoxville, TN.)

Because coloring books provide insufficient options for decorating my home.

I've paid for electronic coloring books before, and would happily do so again. Also, the Netherlands has a coloring book magazine!

By being in the right place at the right time, I may just have found a whole new vein of English for Specific Purposes teaching I could serve in my local market: Thai massage studios with obnoxious clients who can only speak English to them. "Sorry, sir, we only offer therapeutic massage here. If you want to buy sex, you need to go to a brothel. The nearest ones are on Hansastrasse."

+Mickey Blake aside from taking a course in coaching or interpersonal communications, I can't think of anything in particular. In addition to my CELTA, I also studied counselling and life coaching.

Actually, your local Toastmasters may have a short course that would give you the skills that you could percolate into your own teaching. Or perhaps even the local police if they have a situational awareness course. Any of these would give you the skills to be more assertive yourself - and you would then need to make up a lesson plan with the relevant vocab/dialogs.

But the increase in student retention and interest could be quite substantial if you could offer this to any client facing business that deals with drunken louts.

Happy International Women's Day! Exercise your choice as to whether or not to celebrate it like Deadpool and his girlfriend.

A fantastic selection of scrumptious cakes, muffins, and breads. Plus friendly staff.

Three different stereos playing three different sorts of music in rooms that aren't sound isolated is far from relaxing. Throw in a telephone constantly ringing with an irritating ringtone, and it's downright annoying. Plus my nail technician wasn't that great. If I hadn't bought a Groupon for six months' flatrate, I doubt I'd be going back.

When I, as a Caucasian person, walk into an Asian restaurant and notice that I'm in the ethnic minority, I know odds are good that I'll get a fantastic meal. Takumi did not disappoint me! Anyone who doesn't realize that there's more to Japanese food than sushi should come here to broaden their culinary horizons. I will definitely be back!

I do love a good sushi-go-round! This one not only has typical maki and nigiri, but also has a top round for warm dishes with selections I usually associate with dim sum. Especially great for me was the large number of warm and cold vegetable dishes, since I'm a big veggie eater. I look forward to eating here again!
