My group is considering starting a campaign based on Savage Worlds, and I'm looking for a sci-fi type SW setting which includes elements of cyberpunk, star travel and Alien races. Would appreciate any suggestions....Thanks in advance!

If you search for "Mindjammer" in the Google+ search tool it should come up.

Thanks...I should have mentioned I don't have interest/time in creating a campaign so I'd be looking for a setting that includes prebuilt campaign/module, our where such is readily available

I've been running my kid and some friends through a pathfinder-based game, but am considering switching to 5e for the rules simplicity (kids are 10yrs old).

Any advice on 5e relatively short (completed over course of 2-3 3h4 sessions) campaigns for level 2 characters?

To, are there any resources to aid in converting pathfinder characters to 5e, as well as pathfinder modules/campaigns to same?

If you want to try a 5e module before doing any conversion work, the starter set comes with a 1-5 adventure.

So I'm walking about the +Musée du Louvre the other day (cause, you know, apparently that's what one does in Paris); I was prepped for the crowds - distasteful, yet not a significant issue.

What I was NOT prepared for was the sea of rubes who walked up to an exhibit to hold phone (or large tablet!?) up high to snap a succession of shots and then turned away, presumably off to capture the next "must see" exhibit; nearly equal in number were the self-aggrandizing gits who required a selfie with said exhibits.

I was dumbfounded, distressed & sickened by this lack of respect and appreciation for one's surroundings - For fek's sake, you're in the presumed museum of all museums! #dontbeafekkingtourist

This is a photo of an atomic bomb milliseconds after detonation, shot by Harold 'Doc' Edgerton in 1952 through his Rapatronic (Rapid Action Electronic) Camera.  The photo was shot at night through ...

I'll be running my daughter and couple of friends through an RPG session (either d&d next or pathfinder) this weekend ... any recommendations for a ten-year old accessible, short (2 hour) module?

Check out DriveThru RPG, they have a lot of Free resources and adventures, though if you are planning on running Next you will have to do some conversions. If you are running Pathfinder, there is virtually no end to the Free and Paid adventure materials you can pick up for the system.

according to: https://www.peginc.com/store/the-last-parsec-scientorium-pdf/

This book requires the Savage Worlds core rules and the Savage Worlds Science Fiction Companion to play.

but i don't see anything like a last parsec "core" book. i think that role is filled by the sci fi companion?

or what +Clint Black said while i was looking up these links. ;)

Yeah, I just did a fairly exhaustive search and it sounds like "The Last Parsec" and "Interface Zero" are your best bet. I couldn't find a single setting that perfectly fit what you want, but you could either make JumpCorp (the corp that The Last Parsec focuses on) a megacorp in the IZ universe, or alternatively use the cybernetics & cyberspace rules from IZ in a straight Last Parsec game. I have not been able to read "The Last Parsec" yet, but response to it has been overwhelmingly positive. I do have "Interface Zero" and can tell you firsthand it's one of the strongest cyberpunk settings I've ever come across.
