Master piece completed by our very own ABRI Integrated Mental Health's Director Cathie Wu. It will be display soon in our waiting area, while waiting you can enjoy this art piece inspired by Van Gogh's "wheatfield with crows", one of the artist's last works before he committed suicide. A juxtaposition of the loneliness and loss of a path that seems to lead nowhere, amidst crows scattered in a directionless pursuit in the stormy sky. Yet the color palette remains bright, perhaps somewhere in the deep resides a hope that has not yet been diminished...

By the way, is not for sale!

Corporeal punishment on kids is a deeply rooted and contentious issue. More research suggests that such physical punishment leaves an indelible negative impact on children as they grow up to be adults. To learn how to manage our own anger more effectively and to learn skills to be more nurturing adults, talk to us today about getting help, or attend a workshop with us in August on this very topic! ABRI offers primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention for those struggling with anger or trauma. You don't have to suffer alone.

ABRI is proud to present our inaugural training event "Childhood Matters for Grown Ups" by Ms. Sudha Kudva, M.Sc., M. Coun., P.G. Dip., celebrated author, counsellor, and play therapist!

"Childhood Matters for Grown Ups" is an extension of the work "Childhood Matters", now presented in hands-on format, to adults who struggle with the stress and demands of parenting and educating their young ones.

Sudha invites all parents as well as professionals to this 4 day UK-accredited training workshop in ABRI. Together, participants will learn to identify and investigate dysfunctional ways of parenting that perpetuate a cycle of negativity; then to explore and seek new ways of interacting with children that are rooted in a more positive and healthier upbringing.

If you have kids, work with kids, or would like to know more about how to become better at parenting and educating your children, do not miss this informative training workshop with a therapist well experienced and recognised in the field of child work.
