My husband and I have been to this location in the past and didn't like the pizza and service but we thought we would give it another chance after seeing a friend post good things about Zio's on Facebook. We visited tonight after work at 7:00 and just got home now at 8:41. (We live within walking distance) We ordered a salad and a slice of pizza each and it took over an hour to get our pizza. Our waitress kept telling us that she didn't know what the issue was. There were numerous tables who got there after us and finished their meals by the time we received ours . At one point while waiting for our pizza our waitress even apologized and said she was going to "pay" for our pizzas. When our pizza finally came out I noticed that my napkin already had pizza sauce on it...yuck! I asked for another napkin and the waitress said she would be right back with it. She never brought me my new napkin. She also tried clearing my plate while I was still eating my pizza and when she realized I was still eating she mentioned something like "sleep deprivation will get you every time." When she brought the bill she never took the pizzas off the ticket. We ended up paying full price for 2 slices of pizza and 2 salads. We are never going back....plus the pizza wasn't even that good. It was alright, but nothing to write home about.

Zio's has always been a pizza staple for me growing up in Omaha. I love the NY style crust and the selections of specialty pizzas is great. I am fan of the Pesto Chicken or Thai Chicken. It is also nice that you can order by the slice. Sometimes service at the downtown location can be slow, often due to traffic, but food is quality and I enjoy most visits.

I got the Grand Finale (supreme) to go. The extra large was $29.78 after tax. The crust was medium chewy and done in a stone oven but had no stand out qualities. A slice would need to be propped up for the 1st few bites then would stand erect. The toppings? It was just another supreme pizza. There were parts of the pie that you could see sauce through the light cheese. The marinara sauce was good (and maybe the only thing homemade) but not write your mama great. Every ingredient seemed as tho it came from Sam's club except the marinara sauce. Bottom line... It's an overprice toppings short run of the mill pizza. At $30 I have to dislike it. At $20 it would be OK. Glad I tried it but Casey's Pizza I miss you.

The first time I orderd from here was a week ago My husband and I oderd the pasta.. Our food took 2 hours no joke 2 hours to arrive and i called them to ask if they have forgotten about us the guy was very rude over the phone hes said well it takes us an hour in a half to deliver it and i told him its been more then that he said hes on his way.. anyways so we waited got our food 2 hours later when we open the box my husband got something completly diffrent from what he orderd on top of that the food was cold!!! okay so he ended up eating something else.. I decided to give this location another shot this weekend i called for delivery in downtown area again a guys answerd the phone with a hello?? i was confused i asked is this zios he said yes what do you need??? okay not a very good way to answer the phone but i went on and he cut me off and told me hold on put me on hold for 15 min then cam back and said waht do you want with a rude tone i told him i told you what i want i want to make an oder for delivery so he took my oder asked for my card #r and said ok and hunged up?? not even a thank you?? okay so we waited for our meal which took them 2 hours again we opened up our food and guess what?? wrong oder!! I got what i wanted but they messed up my hubby order again on top of that i asked for a strawberry cheesecake and they sent me a regular cheesecake that tasted horrible it tasted like it was sitting in the fridge for a very long time and i also oderd a medium pepsi for one person and they sent me a liter!! they also gave me a pizza that wasnt mine and they diddnt charge me for it so it had to be someone elses!! ANd my food was cold!! Point is I will never order fom this place again for some reason they have issues with getting your oder wrong every single time!! are you kidding me?? I wouldnt recommend this location to anyone the one on dodge is way much better then the downtown one and it sucks becuase i live closer to this one but id rather drive then ever get anything from this place again!!

I had their Pizza, and trust me I know My pizza ! Very fresh dough, nice and crispy bottom, not so "saucy" like others ive had, Mozzarella cheese is of the highest quality which is extremely important in a good pie. I ate a whole 12" by myself. Zio's Rocks Omaha Pizza hands down !!

Zio's maintains a firm belief that hamburger equals sausage. Wars have started over lesser misunderstandings than this! When I got my "sausage" calzone, I thought they had accidentally put hamburger in it instead of sausage. When talking to the manager, who was very nice, she pointed their sausage is hamburger. So, if you like sausage pizza, don't go here.

We went looking for a non-franchise, local pizzeria while in Omaha. The hostess and our waitress were both friendly and fun. We settled an all meat pizza. They were generous on toppings and cheese. Pizza looked good and tasted good. Our only disappointment was the Cesar salad was a bowl of chopped iceberg lettuce with some parmesan and Caesar dressing. Meh, next time we're skipping salads and ordering a larger pizza.

Our dough is unbleached and made by hand every morning by ZIO himself. No preservatives.  Our sauce is a special recipe, preservative free prepared each day from whole tomatoes, fresh garlic, select herbs and spices.
