So cool!

This little pond with the little dock is about four minutes from my house... I think I should go here more often! :)

Today's Escape with Scandinavia – a way to go – is from Mount Kirkjufell in Snæfellsnes peninsula, Iceland.

Iceland has plenty of natural attractions to decorate your festive experience, from fjords and volcanic fields to the beautiful northern lights. http://bit.ly/1gQVuMh

The image you see here with this post, was 'shooting' yesterday night of Mount Kirkjufell with the northern lights enlightened, dancing in the sky. The northern lights have been unusually strong over Iceland this first week of April.

A hiking path around the base of the mountain offers amazing views and varied bird life. This is a perfect walk for families and takes about 3 hrs. It is 794 meters (2,605 ft) high and should be climbed with care.

The mountain forms a small penisula and oposite this beautifully shaped mountain, we have this phenomenal waterfall named after the mountain and is called Kirkjufellsfoss. It´s made of 3 waterfalls falling side by side and on the top is this old little stone bridge, that makes the scene so  special.

If you are touring in Snæfellsnes national park then I recommend you take a round to view the mountain and if you do, you drive by this place of Grundarfjörður.

If you are located in Reykjavik city you can even take a day tour to view the mountain because it´s not that far. Read our article 'Iceland is full of hidden secrets waiting to be discovered' at: http://bit.ly/1qc66ta - of this wonderful area into Snæfellsnes peninsula.

The 'land of fire and ice' is an amazing experience in all seasons. Get up close to unique natural phenomena and local culture with our wide range of Iceland tours at: http://bit.ly/1jK62xm

They have limited items for display, but a huge catalog of items which can be ordered from. Delivery was on-time and hassle-free. Christina and John were helpful when I visited the warehouse. They take only check or cash. And weekends can be very crowded at the store.

I went there to pick up the Xfinity box. I had to wait around 10 minutes and the staff were courteous. The lady at the counter was helpful in explaining the what had to be done after the box was plugged in. The overall experience was good.

Tasty food. Not too spicy, but just about right. Have tried appam/dosa/idiyappam with chicken curry and pomfret fry.
