My wife and I ate at this café for lunch recently with a group of our friends. Everyone commented on the quality of food as being good or great. The service was of high caliber as well. Our server was friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. I ate the lunch special that day, which was a crusted ahi tuna sandwich. It could have been seared a little more, but tasted great. My wife ordered a salad, which she said was very crunchy and tasty. Due to the large size our group, we weren't able to eat out on the patio. We were hoping to enjoy the incredible view, as the restaurant sits adjacent to the river and makes for nice scenery. The place seems very popular, and based on our experience we would have to agree. The menu was quite diverse and offered a lot of quality selections. Lunch menu pricing was just a tad bit on the high side, but it is definitely worth the extra dollars for the quality.

Very underwhelming experience. If you want to watch the game on the tv's about 1/3 of the tv has some in house ad system which shrinks the image to barely visible. They have packed so many tables in that niether you nor they can navigate without bumping into diners. The food was ok, I honestly would go back to Joe's crab shack if I wanted better quality food. Service is where this place truly failed. I was seated quickly but after that every stage of interaction took 15+ minutes. Including getting my soft drink. The waiter seemed to regard me as an afterthought and failed to be particular polite. The worst offense was north my water and soft drink were brought and never refilled even though they were empty from before I received my food till I finally left. Sadly if you are in the neighborhood you will get better service and similar food at Joe's Crab Shack.

On our first ever visit to Sacramento US, our son in took us to Rio City Cafe for dinner. It was a memorable experience. The Sea food here was one of the best ever tasted anywhere. Keep it up Rio City staff V S Saxena, Mumbai (India)

We had a party of 9 adults and 4 children and the service was just as good of it were me and my wife. Don't be afraid of bringing your kids here because of the price.
