Another night shot for us East Coasters to see.  This one will be a little more chilly than previous Wallops shots for us though.  ;)
The Orbital Sciences Corporation Antares rocket is seen shortly after it was raised into position at launch Pad-0A, Tuesday, December 16, 2013, at NASA's Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, VA. The Antares will launch a Cygnus spacecraft on a cargo resupply mission to the International Space Station. The Orbital-1 mission is Orbital Sciences' first contracted cargo delivery flight to the space station for NASA. Among the cargo aboard Cygnus set to launch to the space station are science experiments, crew provisions, spare parts and other hardware. Launch is scheduled for 9:19 p.m. EST on Thursday, Dec. 19. Weather permitting, it may be widely visible along the east coast of the United States. Photo Credit: (NASA/Bill Ingalls)

Beautiful rocket launch witnessed from NJ... the second one I've seen  from the road in front of my house.  Who needs to go to Florida when you have Wallops Island, VA a couple hundred miles away!

Sitting on the back deck sipping a beer and watching the sky. Saw five satellites but no meteors. Just less than an hour to see a rocket launch from Wallops in Virginia.

Good to be back in Philly! (And soon Jersey!)

Going to be looking at alternatives to Skype. Too many problems the past couple months involving connectivity issues, then an obscure message today about "Skype Home is not available". Has taken too much time among two shows and four cohosts to have not been able to record a total of three episodes.
Just feel like it's no longer the stable and reliable software it once was.
Any suggestions?

I was able to publish the latest Hold The Gluten podcast a few weeks late after a few weeks off from sicknesses, vacation, travel, and other distractions.

Looking for your opinions on the best photo-sharing service that you use.  Maureen and I just spent a week in Montserrat (West Indies volcanic island), and have a ton of pics.  We want to share, but where?  Both of us have only dabbled (Facebook and Flickr mostly).  We want to use the service that best "gets the word out" so that others that search for the island get to really know about it.  We ourselves learned much from others' photos on Flickr mostly... but is there better?
What are your recommendations?  Why?  Thank you.  :)
