My gaming group has re-launched our podcast, Bone Thrower's Theater. We're playing Mini Six! The campaign is called "Angel's Guard." The world is a fantasy set in a rough analog of Elizabethan England. The party are domestic spies, tasked with solving the theft of a secret government project.

In the first episode, we introduce the players and the characters, and wade into this new campaign setting.

Question for you all about magic. In Mini-Six, the magic user can choose 2 spells per die spent in Magic. So, if you spend 3D, you get 6 spells. I've been reading over the D6 Adventure book, and I can't find any specific guidance on how many spells a PC would get. Do you have any guidelines that you use?

I read this short, serialized novelette last week, and I absolutely loved it. It's a fantastic "wandering in the wilderness" story that's sparingly, yet elegantly, written. Highly recommended!

D6 Magazine - Legacy Edition proposal:
Hey everyone, please feel free to share this post with your d6 gaming networks. I'm seeing if we have interest, and if there's anyone willing to contribute material towards a 2018 edition of D6 Magazine?

Ideally, I'd like to release this issue fourth quarter 2018.
The theme is d6 Legends: d6 Space.
Space Horror, Space Opera, Science, new Starship designs, etc...

I played a PbtA hack at a local con on Sunday, and it got me thinking of Apocalypse World's fail/success roll spectrum. Here's a quick-and-dirty house rule draft to try to bring in that kind of system to Mini Six. Do you think this would work?

This may be a good resource for a bullet journal. It's a lexicon of symbols that you can use to represent voices for NPCs.

Over the last year, I've been working hard on my game session notes. How I lay them out, what I find helpful -- that kind of thing. Here is my latest template iteration. How do you all organize your session prep?

For those of us who asked for a PAX Unplugged badge, will we get an e-mail with further info about when/where/how to get those? Thanks very much.

I had a few e-mails from RPG Drivethru this afternoon, stating that Nocturnal Media had made some changes to the Open D6 books. I went to look, and was pleasantly surprised to find that POD options were added for the Core books, both in hard and softcover. So, now, you can own brand new hardcopies of Adventure, Fantasy and Science Fiction!
