So I ordered the "Bacon Cheese Burger" which is 10.50 on the menu, with "Fried Calamari" as my app, and also ordered the "Clam Chowder Soup inside the Sour Dough". The only thing that was right was the Fried Calamari. Instead of the Bacon Cheese Burger, I received the BH Cheese Burger, which is 8.50. The difference in the two are size, and grilled onions. The Clam Chowder Soup was brought to me in a bowl instead of inside the Dough. When I confronted the server/waiter about the error he told me that I did it because it is cheaper, and that they are the same thing. First off no they are not, and second of all if I wanted cheaper I would have went to a local fast food joint and ordered off their dollar menu. I have never been to this restaurant before and probably will never return. I can not eat onions because I am not able to keep them down. They took off the price of my meal but the fact that you assume that I am coming to your restaurant for a reduced price on a meal and don't order what I requested.

This is an excellent place for good food and drinks. They're constantly updating the menus and always try to keep them with the seasons. I usually sit at the bar, so service is fairly quick and the bartenders make it a point to get to know you. In my case, they know me by name and automatically set me up with the drinks I want as soon as I sit. Anyway, it's a good place for a date or a night out with friends.

I stopped at BJ's in Temple TX, last Friday night, with a friend and her little girl. We were on our way down to San Antonio for the weekend and needed to get some dinner. My friend hadn't eaten at a BJ's restaurant before, so I was excited for her to enjoy the food. This was the first time I'd been to this BJ's location. My friend ordered the Kale and Roasted Brussels Sprouts salad. First, there was all of one Brussels Sprout in her salad, and second, it was raw. She asked the waitress for some that were roasted, as the menu says they're supposed to be, and the waitress argued with her that it was supposed to be "lightly roasted." A manager type then came over, also to argue that the raw sprout was "lightly roasted," and "al dente." He agreed to bring some roasted sprouts out to her, and we thought the discussion was finished. But, no, no it wasn't. When he came back out, he had 2 plates in his hand, one with "lightly roasted" (read: raw) sprouts and one with some that actually looked like they were roasted. He just HAD to get the last word in about how wrong we were to expect to see ROASTED Brussels Sprouts in the salad. He even left the plate with the raw sprouts on the table. I don't think we were rude or unkind at any point, we just asked for the food to be what we expected it to be based on the menu description, we certainly didn't deserve being argued with 3 times about it. It's not so hard to meet a customer's reasonable request about the food they're paying for. I picked up the check, and I am, frankly, LIVID at the treatment my friend received for making a reasonable request. My local BJ's won't be losing my business, but I will mention the treatment at the Temple location to anyone who will listen, any time it comes up in conversation.

Food was just okay. Not bad at all just not great. Had the seared ahi salad and French Dip. 430 on a Saturday afternoon. Place was not busy. Waitress was not particularly attentive. Main irritant...check was delivered to the table before we were half way thru the meal with a, "did you Dave room for desert". No? Here's your bill. Returned one more time to snatch it up and say have a good day as she was walking away. Again, the restaurant was not busy.
