This is priceless -- especially Grace Hopper's explanation of a nanosecond (and how you would explain it to an Admiral). She holds her own with Letterman. What a lady! 

About mid-way in the video she recounts when President Reagan promoted her to Commodore (now called Rear Admiral Lower Half -- Commodore sounds so much better, doesn't it?)...and then later, the transition from a military uniform to civilian clothes.
