Cold weather is expected to move into all of our service areas this weekend which means our main winter pest will begin to be a problem. Mice don't hibernate, so when colder temperatures arrive they move into your home for shelter. Our blog below gives you tips on what to look for and how to keep them out. If you have a mice problem, call us! We can take care of it for you, 866.WAYNES1.

Leaves are falling which means you may want to check and see if your gutters are clogging. It's a good idea to clean out your gutters twice a year, in the fall and spring. Check out our blog for tips on when, how and why you should clean out your gutters every year.

We've received a lot of calls recently regarding the number of fire ant mounds popping up in lawns. This isn't necessarily out of the ordinary. The ants are building up mounds due to the cool, wet weather. They're getting ready for winter just like us! The above ground portion of the mound collects heat from the sun and the ants get warm, like a mini greenhouse. Did you know we offer a fire ant management service? Check out our website for more information www.callwaynes.com

Usually by the time a homeowner realizes they have a problem, the pest may have spread to other food sources. Catching the problem early definitely helps! Check out our blog for tips
